@bcolborn Actually I've just searched for 'Tempus.." and Powell's is actually a differnt tune- also AABA form, and the A section in minor key, but head & changes a bit different;there's another upload w/ a studio version of this track that Steve's playing and it's called 'Extemporanous' from his 1990 album 'My Second Prime"
I should transcribe me some of this this fantastic Tenor solo.

I saw him at Stanford Amphitheater in 1969 playing with Miles Davis! He must have been about 17. What is the title of this tune please?
