This pedal is absolutely amazing! It sounds a lot more focused that the Reverb on the Fender Amp, you can hear every single note perfectly yet the Reverb is there and it sounds very authentic.

It does indeed makes the sound a bit brighter.. but not unpleasant. The reverb of the amp is superb, and the pedal sounds like a nice compressed sound. I'm tempted to get this pedal.

In my opinion the pedal changes the natural tone of the amp. It adds highs and sounds too bright for me.

Does anyone else notice how much brighter the guitar signal is with the pedal engaged? Listen to the guitar tone, not the verb. The first riff with the amp reverb is very warm and balanced. When he turns off the amp reverb and clicks on the pedal, the guitar sounds a lot brighter and thinner... not as balanced. Very odd, I don't like it. The verb sounds great though... the pedal just seems to mess with the guitar's tone too much.

I love this thing. Super-long traily reverb-decay without being weighty. I've been using the built-in reverb unit in my Hot Rod Dlx (At least it's an older, US-made one and not from Mexico), and the reverb in that thing is horrible. You've convinced me to stop using the stock reverb and go back to an external unit. I can't afford the Van Amps, but I DO have an AX1500G that does a nice reverb for a digital unit. Should improve my tone a lot, so thanks, I guess.

2 questions:

1.can you shake the reverb to get that crazy spring reverb explosion noise or is there some kind of noise cancellation circuitry?

2. could you run it with the proper adapter cables in the reverb send/return of an amp/effects loop or is it meant to be in front of the amp?

hey do you guys think this pedal will work well with some gain on a marshall?

@Ironsixx probably only if its in the FX loop. I use it with my 5150 in the loop and it works, but in the front end (before the preamp) it sucks, blurrey, muddy and washy.
