2/2 I think that if Google/Android really want to out-do the competition, they have to give consumer's a better reason to get an Android phone. for example; a download able software to help manage your media like itunes on to your computer without all the restrictions of itunes and such. id like to continue but this is getting too long. This Google phone looks awesome and the tech specs are awesome too, I will mos def be getting this phone when it comes out!!!

One thing people need to stop doing is calling this phone, the iphone killer. What people dont realize is that there are phones out there that in many ways already surpass the iphone. The iphone has been around for over three yrs and still cant seem to get it right. Android, on the other hand has been around for a lil over a yr and has surpassed the iphone in many ways. Yet, it will take more than just technology to really out-do the iphone because of the cult following behind it.

If you really believe that then you are an idiot. Google is probably the most innovative company there is. Apple never makes of their own ideas. I admit that Apple makes what it does well, and they perfect old ideas but they aren't as innovative as Google. Microsoft and Google are not copying ideas any more than Apple is.

this is once it comes out gonna be a top phone maybe till the next iphone comes out dont get me wrong iphones r nice really nice and r top phones right now and the specs r really good the only big threat to it right now is droid which is a really nice phone too but u have to admit these specs are jaw dropping if there not to u u have no idea Wat they mean or u have an iphone So far shoved in ur azz all u can say is it sucks lol well it doesn't and welcom to the google revolution ;)

also some major specs are the snapdragon processor!! thats a 1 gig processor thats 40% more processing power than iphones!!! 40% more!!! this phone can out power some old comps. in fact it is a comp lol it has 2 mics one for talking and the other int the back for noise cancellation which iphone does not have either snapdragon or 2 mics also the graphics card on the nexus one can run 22 million triangles a second! compaired to iphones 7 mil

it has the regular stuff iphone has compass its 3g wifi bluetooth but it has something iphone doesnt have fm radio it also has an exchangable 1300mha battery which iphone doesnt have an expandable memory slot which iphone doesnt have android 2.1 which is more of a personal choice since its software but android one is arguably better or equal to iphones 3.0 but for the sake of it lets say there equal

From what I've heard it's simply a Hero with some higher specs (like the Snapdragon processor)

If anything, the Motorola Droid is the closest thing to an iPhone killer running Android.

Yeah, but it's not an iPhone killer as everyone seems to be hyping it to be.

It's the 3rd (at least) android phone with the Snapdragon processor, probably the same camera as the Hero, and dual microphones for noise cancelling. It's pretty much what you'd expect from HTC now.

Basically an updated Hero IMO

No, the Acer Liquid and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 use the snapdragon processor. The Droid doesn't.
