hey thanks for the input. I think im just gonna buy it and see how it goes. ill read in instructions and try to follow them to the best of my ability. I see that some electric cars can be so much faster than the nitro with the proper battery but there if nothing like the smell and noise of a good nitro engine!!! Ill tell you how it goes.. cheers

I'm thinking of getting the revo 3.3 for my first nitro rc. Any suggestions? Do you guys like yours? It's mainly just a toy to mess around with when I'm bored and the wife is at work. Any help would be great. Thanks!!

@addisonkendel Is this going to be your first nitro? i am not a big fan of nitro because of the cost cbut they do have a alot of power. You need to have an idea on how to tune the nitro engine because it wont run right if it isnt tuned right. i had the revo 3.3 a few years ago when it first came out i liked it but ran into alot of problems and it cost me alot of money. i havent seen the new model of the revo 3.3 so i dont really have an idea on how it is.

the revo has a lot of power and it gets boring after a while because it just pops wheelies.personally i think the tmaxx is better it is fast good on and off road

@iENJOIskating209 um u know the t maxx is more likely to pop wheelies and revo its better for of road....... t maxx is just cheeper. a little better for bashing cuz the parts are cheep on it. and easy to work on.

I have a revo 3.3 its a good truck iv never seen a savage run so im not sure. If you get a revo when you are braking it in move the lean rich needle were u want it

Savage is a usless rolling tank. Sold mine yesterday and now thinking about revo. Savage is big, heavy and coz of it stock need much more tune up then revo does. Revo suspension is really awesome. The one thingis engine, you need to tune it very accurate not to make it overheat..

In choosing savage or revo, I can advice you only new revo 3.3. savage is prehostoric already.

Revo has a pretty sweet adjustable suspension. Raise or lower the ride height by changing the pushrod location. Also different geometry in the rocker arms allow longer suspension travel, which is probably why those stairs were navigated so easily.
