Is it just me or does seeing someone start to obviously lose from the get go make me not want to watch the rest of the vid, I think rather than having the volume of bat reps they should focus on the quality, because its the tension of who is going to win that keeps you clicking on the next part of the bat rep :)

Wooooowww luckiest shot with the doom arch I think the space marines are done u should have taken a predator to just blow up those transports and u could have deep stricked the van guard because they could charge on the same turn they come in on with deep strike

@reedster222 first of all i agree, this game was just really bad rolls for marines and good rolls for necrons. Ur last point though i have to question you about. I think that the whole van guard veteran "deep strike assault" ability is kinda cool, but have you ever tried them out? I feel like they just wouldnt be that good because you have to get within 6" off the deep strike of an enemy, which is incredibly risky because you still have to keep in mind mishap which could end very bad!

just for clarification if you declare that you are shooting with plasma weapons, you still have to test for "gets hot" even if you are out of range, since technically you do fire the weapon. Just for anyone who wants to know.

@johnkerry7 no, it says in the rulebook, that you can actually opt to not fire with certain models in a squad. Not sure exactly the page number, but i know it is a thing you can choose whether or not to fire everyone. I know because I got in a situation where i wanted to assault some gaunts with termies, and i knew if i fired all the storm bolters in the squad he would remove gaunts so i couldnt assault...so i only fired 2 termies so i was still able to assault. Awesome 1st round of shooting from the SM's lol, btw the las+missile dread, correct me if I'm wrong but cudnt you shoot with the lasscannon 1st AND then declare shooting with the missile next ie pen with the lascannon against A13 then use the missile to pen it after the quantum shielding is down?

@lordkabal2010 No, I dont believe so, since everything fires at once it would still count its quantum shielding for that entire unit firing at it. Now if that one unit got a penetration with any shot then when the next unit fires at it, the necron player wouldn't be able to use quantum shielding because of the penetration that was inflicted from the earlier unit's firing.

@techmarine96 bretonnians are an older army and likely to get a new book sometime this year. They are very playable, but still not quite as powerful as a lot of other fantasy armies. Skaven on the other hand are very powerful in 8th and perform really well. However it really comes down to which models and fluff you enjoy more :)

Since wydog286 is a fool I'll give you some good advice. Bretonnians were my first army getting into warhammer and to me, they rock. I field an all knight list and it runs down most armies. However if you don't play them right your asking for a world of hurt. I remember when I first started with brets I lost so much that I almost quit the game. However I learned how to play with them and now I am ranked the top player at my local store.

@techmarine96 Skaven are really good too. Tons of models and great/fun rules. All depends on how you want to play. Skaven are like the tryannids and the brets are like space marines. Two completely different playing styles.

FYI the brets have the Green Knight. A ghost knight that can't be harmed and can never truly die on the battle field. Just some food for thought.
