Is it me or is that the biggest chunk of the whole 'lack of oil' problem we face nowadays? Most people wouldn't realize it, but I think it's pretty hypocritical and selfish for a company that actually borrowed money from the government to survive to just go out and announce hybrids and clean cars whereas being one of the biggest contributors to the existence of over-engined ships on wheels. GM is just doing things the worst possible way, regardless of WHAT they do. Someday that'll bite them back

The V6 Camaro gets 29 miles per gallon highway and the SS gets 25 highway! How is that gas guzzling? In regards to GM's Full sized trucks and SUVs, they have class leading efficiency.

The Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab 5.3L V8 w/XFE pkg gets 22mpg highway same for a Sierra XFE. Tahoe XFE gets 21mpg highway w/5.3L V8 and 2WD. You must be the mental midget here. Since you like talking about Hybrids so much, the Tahoe and Yukon Hybrid 4x4 get 20 in the city and 22 highway.
