The sword has nothing to do with being the master of death. You have to possess the Invisibility Cloak, the Resurrection Stone and the Elder wand.

Snape's death also doesn't make Harry become the owner of the elder wand, because Snape himself never was its owner. Harry became the true owner of the elder wand when disarming Draco in malfoy mansion.

That's right and I never said anything different. I was only explaining why Snape's death doesn't make Harry become the owner of the Elder wand. Because even though Snape killed Dumbledore, the elder wand had already chosen Draco, who was trying to kill Dumbledore the whole year, as its new owner. Therefore, when harry disarmed him, he became the elder wand's owner, altough draco himself never held it in his hands.

It's funny when you think about it. If you saw part 1 you see the picture book of the Deathly Hallows and how it was all told like a friggin' biblical tale. That was awsome. When they say "Master of Death" yes, it is to make yourself technically immortal as well as quite literally being "The Master of Death" in the respect that death cannot claim you because the requested Deathly Hallows' purposes were to avoid Death AND therefore Death himself!! You'll get what I'm saying if you think about it.

Omfg. The Deathly Hallows are the resurrection stone which is the stone in Tom Riddles mums ring (Horcrux). The Invisibility cloak that Harry's dad left him & the Elder Wand (Elahorn wand' Wand of Destiny) which belonged to Albus Dumbledore then became Draco Malfoys. So cannot wait to see this movie but will shed a tear or two when the series ends.

Didn't Albus said they destroyed the Philosipher's stone after Harry found it and passed out in the 1st movie? If so then that 100% proves that the Resurrection stone isn't the same stone. Plus the Philosipher's stone helps make you immortal and the ressurection stone revives the dead back to life. Too different things. So they can't be the same stone.
