i have gotten sick of the susan boyle frenzy and her drama...she wanted fame, it was handed to her on a silver platter, and i for one am disappointed in her follow up actions, not as a singer, but as someone who wanted to be a professional performer. i am also sick of the "pubsters" who have made a video viewing site into their personal chat room!

than the videos put on for all to enjoy-which I certainly do enjoy! My own daughter has performed live for the theatre and Philharmonic so I do know the differences in the sounds-I would imagine Susans voice comes across differently than raw videos. Can hardly wait for an album!!!

The U.S has a similar feel good story, Donald Braswell came in 4th on AGT last year. On his first audition he came out in a crumpled business suit and the crowd was mocking him like they did Susan and America was worse, they started booing him, but instead of running off the stage, he kept singing and his voice is a God given gift that turned the crowd around to where they were giving him a standing ovation like they did Susan. t0nito, all the performers have to repeat their acts from the contest. And they have to wear the same costumes. I'm sure she'll be singing lots of different songs as soon as this tour is over.
Also, if it weren't for cell phones and video cameras, no one would be seeing every performance of the tour. So to each new audience when performers go on tour, the act is new to THEM.
She knows lots of songs and in fact wanted to sing 'Whistle Down the Wind' in the final, but was persuaded not to.
Question: If she gets exhausted so easily...why do all these non-medical snapperheads suggest it's "mental" & dwell on that? I know, I know, it's publicity...but really, there's tons of medical reasons that cause exhaustion.

I was sat 4 rows at the front so I could see her facial expressions quite clearly. To be honest I didnt think she looked very well. She looked a bit spaced out I thought it was 'maybe' medication she may on (I'm not sure). But she put on a wonderful performance as she has such a beautiful voice. She was GREAT!!!!! x

There is something about Susan's singing that is hard to define. It isn't just the voice, she brings the meaning of the music into the world. In 'I Dreamed a Dream" it carries the pain of lost dreams, and in Memories, it is the strength to see though the darkness. I will be glad when she can sing in a more condusive environment.
Ok, here's what i don't get; if someone has as much talent as she does, don't you think they would've been discovered much sooner than in their 4th or 5th decade on this planet???? Better late than never, I guess--if that's really the way it happened. Maybe American parents are much better at ruthlessly pushing their kids who show a talent or aptitude for anything. I am very aware of mental health issues and i feel that she needs time and patience, not to be rushed. Thats why she had to go to the hospital b4 the tour. This is all so new and hugely overwhelming to her. Give her a break.

than the videos put on for all to enjoy-which I certainly do enjoy! My own daughter has performed live for the theatre and Philharmonic so I do know the differences in the sounds-I would imagine Susans voice comes across differently than raw videos. Can hardly wait for an album!!!

The U.S has a similar feel good story, Donald Braswell came in 4th on AGT last year. On his first audition he came out in a crumpled business suit and the crowd was mocking him like they did Susan and America was worse, they started booing him, but instead of running off the stage, he kept singing and his voice is a God given gift that turned the crowd around to where they were giving him a standing ovation like they did Susan. The only thing that exhausts Susan is the negative feeding frenzy the media have subjected he to. Interacting with a live audience is life blood to her. She is not fragile or frail. She is strong and persevering and a brilliant singer. I say let's let the lassie sing and enjoy every minute of it!

t0nito, all the performers have to repeat their acts from the contest. And they have to wear the same costumes. I'm sure she'll be singing lots of different songs as soon as this tour is over.
Also, if it weren't for cell phones and video cameras, no one would be seeing every performance of the tour. So to each new audience when performers go on tour, the act is new to THEM.
She knows lots of songs and in fact wanted to sing 'Whistle Down the Wind' in the final, but was persuaded not to.

She was blowing kisses at me !! ... no only joking .. I dont think she was blowing kisses at anyone inparticular .. I think it may have been part of the performane. I was sat 4 rows at the front so I could see her facial expressions quite clearly. To be honest I didnt think she looked very well. She looked a bit spaced out I thought it was 'maybe' medication she may on (I'm not sure). But she put on a wonderful performance as she has such a beautiful voice. She was GREAT!!!!! x

Sorry to hear she didn't look well. She has catapulted from a really ordinary, simple life to worldwide fame in just over two months. She's probably still trying to grasp it. It's exhausting to think about, let alone live through.

There is something about Susan's singing that is hard to define. It isn't just the voice, she brings the meaning of the music into the world. In 'I Dreamed a Dream" it carries the pain of lost dreams, and in Memories, it is the strength to see though the darkness. I will be glad when she can sing in a more condusive environment.

Ok, here's what i don't get; if someone has as much talent as she does, don't you think they would've been discovered much sooner than in their 4th or 5th decade on this planet???? Better late than never, I guess--if that's really the way it happened. Maybe American parents are much better at ruthlessly pushing their kids who show a talent or aptitude for anything. With the economy in the crapper like it is, maybe the kids have become the new retirement funds.
