Good job he was working on a dark basecoat color.

Silver basecoats are the worst to mix & match and blend in as they often have so many color chip variants.

new vehicles don't have the original factory paint on them anyway cos they get damaged a lot in transit which doesent help either.

Nice vid...So did you use waterbourne or solvent basecoat ?

0:07 missed a bit on overlap..... see the stripe on second light reflection ,should be checkin the progress as you go.

got it on the second pass tho.

@RAT1969 he didn't miss on over lap,he is spraying a 1.5 coat clearcoat which means that you apply first a tack coat followed by a full coat with no flash off time
