I had this bass when i was younger, and played funky/jazzy music. Great tone and playability. Only problem i had, was that the springs holding the pickups in place from underneath, would start ringing, when i played it hard, or slapped it. I fixed it by muting the springs with cloth of some kind. It worked, and i played the bass for years, and everyone loved the sond of it.
Most people don't understand these instruments are the shit. U want a jazz tone with a great playability and then some -> get this and you'll have dough to spare...
I just ordered a L-2000 Custom Tribute Carved 3 Tone Sunburst.. Active PU´s is not my favorite tone but In this case I have very good feelin about G&L. Let´s see how it´s gonna be!
Good demo, thanks. Can you please tell me what amp you plugged it in here ? And btw what amp would you recommend for using it live/rehearsal (200W minimum) ?

@BetoIbeas Long time ago, but all G&L's have passive pickups. Some of them, like the L-series have an active preamp. Witch you can turn off...
