  • I Need Some Advice About My Risers Instrutions Are Mildly Confusing BTW I Live In The NW As Well I Live Just Outside Oregon City

  • Very interesting video. Would love to see an update.

  • I want to know of what are the white raisers made of and how they are called.

  • @Jedifilmer101 - Google "Woodland Scenics"

  • My question will expose that I know very little but, why do you need so many wire connections around the track? I have just started with a basic kit and I only have one point to connect power to the tracks.

  • very nice and its looking great so far. When you finish, you will have a run to be bery proud of...nice job guys.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, this is one of the kits from Woodland Scenics? If so, how's it going? I was thinking of getting one of them, but I'd like to have something that at least does 2 trains. Their kits look so easy.

  • @iwantmodeltrains

It is the layout from the kit, but I did not use the kit, I used the plans they have on their website, and ended up pretty much buying everything that was in the kit. I made soem modifications and wanted some custom things, so I did not go with the kit. I am running DCC on it and can run two trains, but it is only a 4x8 and not a ton of room for running more than that. The kit and layout really is step by step and a great way to get a nice layout in a reasonable time.

  • @nwteacher so update? Is it finished yet? LOL I'd like to see it.

  • ill bet its looking real good you have helped us overcome a problem by sharing your experience many thanks and all the best

  • So far so good on your advice (Liquid Nails) to keep my mountains made of Plaster Cloth from falling when I put my 4 x 8 table up against my garage wall to make room for the truck.
