My question will expose that I know very little but, why do you need so many wire connections around the track? I have just started with a basic kit and I only have one point to connect power to the tracks.
Correct me if I'm wrong, this is one of the kits from Woodland Scenics? If so, how's it going? I was thinking of getting one of them, but I'd like to have something that at least does 2 trains. Their kits look so easy.
It is the layout from the kit, but I did not use the kit, I used the plans they have on their website, and ended up pretty much buying everything that was in the kit. I made soem modifications and wanted some custom things, so I did not go with the kit. I am running DCC on it and can run two trains, but it is only a 4x8 and not a ton of room for running more than that. The kit and layout really is step by step and a great way to get a nice layout in a reasonable time.
So far so good on your advice (Liquid Nails) to keep my mountains made of Plaster Cloth from falling when I put my 4 x 8 table up against my garage wall to make room for the truck. I will have a website showing progress up by Saturday with images and videos. Got the idea from looking at your great work!
@nwteacher Well I posted a video after 1 y ear of progress, title is - 8x4 Ho Scale Train Table Layout - I plan to launch my site this weekend with pictures of the progress.
