Thanks - the same technique works in the older versions of iMovie (v 5 & 6), but it's really easy and obvious there. in FCE, it's impossible to figure out. I can't get over how truly awful the FCE help is - it's like it was written by a well-meaning academic who has never actually tried to make a movie. This topic is covered in a section called "To add a keyframe to the audio level overlay of a clip in the Timeline" - Huh??? How would you find that??? -cheers
Thx, now I can work on my videos without having to export and put the audio in in iMovie, which is annoying and screws up the video quality, for some reason.
That the correct way to fade audio, 22 bad final cut could not make it more obvious. Ticky bunch of bastards that wrote the program. Thanks for ur help, it did work well.
hey juice in my final cut express i don't see that pallet where you got the pen from on the far right bottom. Please tell me how to bring that option pallet up?
Whoa....you saved me! This is such an important and basic function....it's staggering to me that all the manuals I looked through couldn't say this in plain language. Bravo to you! Yep....keep it up.
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You made my day, I've had a some raw material for a while that I didn't know how to edit until your video thank you so much!!!!
@DyLaNiCe Oh my gosh! I switched from vegas too! I'm hating FCE with a passion! this video did help but I am glad someone appreciates vegas as much as I did
yeah in the effects menu go to audio transitions and then use either one. if you want it to drop off just blade it and then put, that is how i usually do it
can you show how to do transitions and titles?
