um, installous is something that allows you to get all PAID app store apps for free, doesnt have to do anything with speed

but download speeds never worry me on my itouch anymore, because there is this awesome app called backgrounder (need 2 jailbreak to get it) and it allows you to run apps in the background, so you can play apps whilst you are downloading. it is SWEET
