  • The biologists came up with a hypothesis (gators eat mottled ducks), tested it, found the data didn't support the hypothesis, and decided to go back to step one. That looked like sound science. Kudos to TPWD biologists! One thought though: I noticed that ducks were being caught at night (probably because they're easier to catch that way). Since the ducks are diurnal and gators are nocturnal predators, maybe the ducks were disoriented and that's why the gators were able to catch a few.

  • Water-Boarding the poor Gators when we all know that Hawks and Racoons are the culprits.
