Kittens are cute...but with care they become so much more...hate how people love having a kitten then dump it! Alot of ferals are a result of this...not to mention owners not having them desexed.... take some responsibility people!
Great video...I care for many feral and stray cats I now have them all spayed and nutered, and feed them every day winter , spring , summer and fall. and I adoppted two of them. now there are eight left outside, only one lets me pet her took a couple of years for her to trust. My new cats are great , six months now they are still afraid of certain noices but in time things will get better they are so happy as am I..thanks for your video i enjoyed it ,, bitter sweet..
@realisticHomeboy- Yes. It takes a lot of time and trust to accomplish but it IS possible. I've done it with several adult feral cats. My most current was a pregnant four year old cat. I can now pet her and hold her. She is still outdoors and spayed now.
@realisticHomeboy Its best to just humanely capture them and get them fixed. Most shelters will do it for free if the kitty is feral. After that just take him or her home and feed them as a outdoors kitty. They will usually become less shy but making them house cats can take alot of work.
@realisticHomeboy the older they are the harder it becomes. I remember a farm cat who used to live in outbuilding earning her keep keeping down the rodent population, her very young kittens were very wary of humans of first but with a week or so socializing they were as tame as anything
The term we use here in the U.S. is trap/neuter/return, rather than release...so people know that the cats should be returned to the place that they were trapped and not released elsewhere.
thank you for helping them out, i live in vancouver currently and there are so many kittys on the move especially on the capalano reservation in west vancouver, they are over populating and i also lost my kitty on the downtown east side, he was an orange tabby with a tattoo in his ear.. :(
Thank you VOKRA for helping these animals and trying to combat the problem with your neutering program. The street cats in Vancouver are lucky to have you. Great song too!

Great video. I just don't understand the objections to TNR. I'm in Los Angeles and will pass this along and post to FB.
Thank you.

As with your 2010 calendar, very sensitively and lovingly done.
Thank you for everything you do for the cats. You are true heroes.
