  • yet again this song amazes me. how can one man and a guitar connect so much. those high notes that paul sings are beautiful.. his guitar, as always, first class. i saw him perform in vicar street, dublin during the summer. WOW what a night. it was jaw dropping stuff.

  • shivers every time

  • they do not come greater than this unassuming GENIUS

  • 10 yrs have come and gone....this one to 9/11

  • Thats a song you will never hear on the radio because it is too genuine. Thank you for this piece of art form Paul, you are a dying breed.

  • Love his lyrics and music. So glad he wrote this tribute.

    An artist for the ages.

  • this song is amazing and a super performance by paul. when he hit the high notes tears came to my eyes. the guitar sounds so lonely and haunting. this is paul at his best.. just stripped right back.. his voice and his six string. truely gifted. some thing bad happend a while ago to some one i love and this song brought the tears i needed to cry to put the situation to bed.

  • I just wanted to mention that although his voice is a bit rough here, I just saw him on tour playing a club gig in D.C., and he was in tip-top shape. Impressive for a dude of seventy years. Also, he appears to have been doing some Pilates or something. A fit dude.

  • the song was so beautiful

  • Great song!

The greatest songwriter of all time singing to the greatest talk show host of all time. Both have inspired so many people. God Bless Paul and Oprah!!

  • his music touches so many hearts

  • Ha! I don't even like Oprah but I still started tearing up

  • Those 5'2 ft tall guy is the tallest guy who could be.

  • this so sweet and sad...i know Oprah was in deep reflection during this song

  • I wish Paul would go ahead and make a studio version of this song already! Such a great song! Could be a killer single!

  • @Jayoung1000 YES! I agree. It's beautiful, and heartfelt.

  • @Jayoung1000 He did record a studio version, but the live versions were just infinitely better. Something about his aging voice with the acoustic arrangement, just makes it amazing.

  • @Jayoung1000 Are you kidding? Paul already has a studio version of Ten Years what are you saying?

  • Love this

  • what a tribute.... almost made me tear up over here.

  • LOVE this!!!!!

  • I m a grown man admitting this ,but i cry every single time i hear this song!

  • i m a grown man admitting this, but i cry everytime i hear this song
