Actually, It was a show organised by Donald.

Of course it's not SD but it's interesting and cool to hear another band's take on the music.

That's what live music is all about.

The special guests were Donald Fagen and Phoebe Snow, and they did some Steely Dan songs, but this isnt a Steely Dan show, and of course this is NOT a version of Steely Dan. This is acompletely different band that had Donald SIT IN. They did an amazing job, and we were all blown away. The place literally seats about 150 people.

The thing is, I was there. This is a VERY small club in Woodstock, NY. The band Ollabelle is Donald Fagen's stepdaughter's band. Her name is Amy Helm (Levon Helm, the drummer from the Band is her father) and the band is AWESOME.

Just saw SD 2008-no comparison!!! The 2008 group is terrific. The backup singers are sharp-with 70's afro's and great dancing. This

is quite different-what a show. I would definitely see again!!!!

Thanks for this vid. Very interesting. These players would never make the roster for the Steely Dan touring band. Walter and Donald tour with certified killers these days.

Only problem with this is that Bernard 'pretty' Perdy aint playing it. The master of the shuffle ! Not the same without him.

too dark. nice song wasted but come to think of it, you can't be a winner forever even the backup singers are tired amid the few applause breaks...well no matter, steely dan is still my number one band of all time
