forty year old version wax scene, changed the world... now metro sexual males with fake tan tight t-shirts and skinny leg chinos are fucking everywhere.
You're kidding. You trivialized people like Gandhi, an anonymous Chinese hero at Tiananmen Square, Mandela and ML King among others, just so you could post clips of random "celebrities"? I'm not saying entertainment is worthless, but how about a sense of proportion? Do you really not grasp the difference between entertaining or titillating people and ending racial discrimination and political oppression?
@MrKevinSchram Believe it or not, people can have a profound impact on our lives regardless of their intellectual capability. To deny that Everybody Loves Raymond redefined the sitcom of the 2000's, that Carell is the most successful comedian of our generation, and that Ellen hasn't made leaps and bounds in regards to gay civil rights would be foolish.
Perhaps you should put down the encyclopedia and open your mind to the contributions of everyone.
@Ollides really have to disagree with you on this one. you cant compare people who make you laugh on the odd occasion, to the world changers named above.
@TheMagnatar I guess it just comes down to different interpretations of the ad. I took is as people who "think differently," in some fashion, as opposed to people who just change the world.
@Ollides raymond, carrell, ellen, as good as they are, but still ten a penny. That cant be said for the others mentioned. no point in arguing as it is still a good ad.
@Ollides Seriously, these people have not had a profound intellectual, spiritual, boundary-breaking, innovative, mind-blowing effect. You cannot say they have had the effect Gandhi, Einstein, John Lennon, Martin Luther King Jr, Edison, Amelia Earhart, etc. have had on the world. Come on, now.

The original Apple ad has been converted into a pathetic show by whoever made this ad.
Ray Romano, Ellen Degeneres, harry Truman and few others are no where near to the people showcased in the original 1997 Apple ad.
Give me a break and shame on those who did this modified ad.......!!!

Ray Romano, Steve Carell and Ellen are on the same level as Martin Luther King Jr., the Tianamen Square Tank Guy and Nelson Mandela?
