  • what size ammo do you use

  • I dare you to shoot it lol. That "firing pin" will m prolly kill/seriously hirt you

  • it looks cool but what the fuck is the point of that hammer mechanism with the rubber band?

  • that nail can kill you when the backfires done...!

  • Ah, yes, the government. They can go fuck themselves.

  • This is illegal not because he made a gun but because the barrel is shorter that 18.5 in and is considered a sawed off shotgun which are illegal in most countries.

  • @Masashi159262 actually, it's NOT illegal in the US since it's legal in most states. as long as you get a BATFE Form 1 and 4 and fill them out properly, you're all legal.

  • @Masashi159262 piss on the government he has the right to bare arms!!

  • lash out on a new saw

  • danger,,,its not safe from backfire,,...

  • Couldn't post a video of it firing because he blew his hands off when he tried. Bloody stumps + keyboard and mouse = FAIL, every time.

  • That unsecured nail is going to come flying back right at you at a high rate of speed the first time you fire that thing.

  • @Sudz1911

When the nail strikes the primer on the shell, the force of the powder igniting is going to send the shell backwards which will transfer to the nail that struck the primer. In normal firearms this isn't a problem because the firing pin is designed for this and the system is contained.

  • @TheGamblingApocalyps sure it does.... the shell doesnt move around the plug fits tight against it

  • I would use bigger diameter pipe and glue in a real shotgun barrel - would be a bit more reliable and your wads would seal. Excellent work though brother (or sister, if you have man hands). :) Merry Christma

  • Canadian gov't faggot boys will have me on a watchlist forever since I watched this clip. YOU SUCK GOVT BOY

  • weapons are here to stay, you can't put toothpaste back in the tube.

  • recoil?

  • @BallisticPyro haha yes definatly awesome at 2.24 i laughed so loud

  • now shoot it

  • Dull saw :(

  • wish i cud saw dat fast

  • Kinda like watching the Brothers Quay do a munitions film strip. Cue up the Sibelius?;)

  • shoot it

  • 2:20 :D i lol'd

  • speed hax (=

  • Shoot it ...............................

  • This is from the improvised munitions handbook huh?

  • awesome vid man

  • Dispárala, anda

  • dumd idea

u have a licens to do dat

  • dumd idea

  • Why is the word "skill" in the title of this video?

  • @asdfghjklkjhgfdsa555 Why not?

  • @MrCherubhair1 Because this video contains no skill. Just rough "workmanship"

  • @asdfghjklkjhgfdsa555 We'll yeah true, there wasn't even a handle or a trigger system.

  • so shoot it, what's the whole point of watching 8 minutes video?

  • i have the book this design came from =P

  • it sounds like sims 3 fast forwarded XD

  • all that work and you dont even shoot it??

  • @Sonicku i don't think its a good idea to shoot this just look how he attached the barrel

  • @Orkunis these do work. the army manual inclludes how to make these. probably won't be good for hundreds of rounds, but the galvanized pipe is hefty enough to handle 3" shells

  • @dannyman4444 it could work but atleast after a few shots the barrel will fly back because of the recoil he just ne to add something what holds the barrel in place

  • @Orkunis the wood glue contends with rearward recoil, and the twine and shellac deal with the upward movement or "muzzle rise" i agree it could be beefed up with some hose clamps or something, but conventional methods of securing barrel to stock aren't really possible because of how hard galvanized pipe is to weld.

  • fuckin cool , maybe nutnfancy can review your gun.

  • this is beast sounds so fucking funny cool consept...

  • lol, at 2:21 xDDDDDDD

  • I found the video entertaining (I would like to have a high speed saw like that). You know some kid is going to try something like that and cut more corners than you did and get hurt, killed or hurt/kill someone else.

Oh Well, for the next episode of the Darwin Awards...

  • how do you shoot it?

  • vajon milyen fát használ???

  • key to make this faster......chain saw n_n

  • Box string. That's was funniest. Then the fast forwarding. Comedy central. This guy is good. Great laugh throughout the whole thing!

  • I laughed when you started putting the string on.

Then i started a again when i saw you were using rubber bands. saving though. Good job.

  • lol the fast forwarded parts sound funny.

  • 1:05

"fuck it i'm getting the screwdriver"

  • he moves really really fast

  • hahahahaha i love how you wrap string around it lol... that's really safe XD

  • Hey man, sweet pipe bomb......

  • And they say the chinese make shitty things.

  • Un poco peligroso el disparar eso por lo que veo, esuna buena arma para lastimar al que la dispara. Nada aconsejable en mi punto de vista.

  • LOL - Fkn frightening really

  • HEY, DOES THAT KILL?

  • @barbarotico Everything unless you are Chuck Norris, with a capital C for chin fist.

  • get a proper hacksaw!

  • The ONLY way that this is illegal is that he made it too SHORT. If it was 18" it would be legal....so all those who commented that it is illegal to make your own gun(s), you need to check the laws rather than spout off untruthful statements.

  • @alexwheeler That is correct. Under federal law, as long as it doesn't violate any other gun laws (such as barrel length), there is no problem with building your own gun so long as it is for personal use only without sale or transfer of ownership. State laws may have restrictions (Vermont, Texas, California) but it is not explicitly illegal in America.

  • @Pilotgeek

You can sell it as long as it wasn't intended for sale in the first place. IE, a business. If you get tired of it, perfectly legal to sell it, at least at the federal level.

  • ookk... and how it shoots?? 0_o

  • why would anyone need to build one when they can get their giggles from watching others (who probably can't get them any other way) make them.

Thankfully this is just entertainment, until someone tries to complete a build with a round in the chamber. Just because you can doesn't mean you should, especially if you can get them legally - on the other hand if you can't get them legally, maybe some thought about why that is may be in order.

Nice design, I would of used a floating firing pin.

  • @potatoesnbeer but whoever you just murdered with it would still be dead.

  • how do u reload? Would it take longer than Civil War guns?

  • u can cut wood pretty fast, man.

  • Ill just stick with my .22lr dont want the ATF busting my ass

  • its scarey that we have people like u doing that stuff who knows if that will go off and kill someone why take the risk

  • would there be an alternative to the rubberbands?

  • AWESOME! Got all the tools already and alot of time on my hands lol

  • that is some ugly looking gun!

  • I would like to jerk off at that speed: 0:32

  • that is a real funktional pipegun:

    .youtube.com/watch?v=DKYJXBNpAS0

  • BRAVO MY FRIEND, now I can make a gun all on my own, for cheap. & I HAVE ALL THE FUCKIN TOOLS IN THE WORLD, YEAH!

  • friend did this shit and it a dudes house we knew from like 100 yards away, and you could just hear him screaming about his t.v "lol when it happened" but when my friend shot it.. like a part of his face was just cut open and he fell "i thought he was dead cause he hit the ground". he used a pipe gun and a small cap filled with tiny rocks and it was funny as hell when he shot it.

  • 0:28 dam u are so fast with the sawO.o!!xD

  • Comment removed

  • your not showing us how to do it. your just doing it

  • Nice vid mate. Have you fired it, and if so how many rounds has it taken? Also the tubing you used was seamless DOM right?

  • have you fired it???

  • i laughed at 2:26 hahah

  • spin the barrel so the projectile spins and make the stock longer and you got a good single shot rifle

  • you should probably get a sawsall.

  • well it looks like shit but i thought it was a neat video

  • cool vid.. I'd like to see it shoot though, maybe some improvised shot 0.o

  • dude ur pretty sick with that saw man

  • This video deserves my download and +1

  • Sounds Like A MG 42

  • This is a very bad example and no one should ever do what is shown in this video ever. Getting fingers so close to a miter saw blade is just asking to be nicknamed stumpy.

    Sweet shotgun, by the way.

  • i hope that no big boom on this video.

  • i hope that no big boom on this video.

  • Comment removed

  • what are the two pieces you connected to the end of the pipe called so i can buy them

  • does the tension on the rubber bands have enough power to make a shot gun shell go off ?

  • Cool video. Very glad the poster didn't get in trouble.

It is what it is. Person who filed complaint should really get a life. ;)

  • chipmonk xD

  • man... sweet idea, only problem being that you're pretty much the worst craftsman I've ever seen

  • @drivesVW Yeah, there may be some truth to that ;)

  • @chadperson1 no...u keep doing what ur doing ..ur creativeness is a gift ...forget about the haters

  • @drivesVW yea this guy know is one handy mother fuker

  • the fire and loading mechanism are rather faulty, it would be very dificult to reaload and most because of the firing mechanism on first, and of the need to unscew that piece (it would probably not enter the correct spot if loaded throught the musel cos of the difference in diameters) but otherwise awesome video

  • I'm not sure if uve realised this but if a bullet went off inside that pipe, the nail would fly back and probably go right through ur arm. Not a very safe device at all

  • wow he saws fast

  • You my friend, are a bloody GENIUS! And to all those idiots who're talking about guns being unsafe n all, if u dnt like it, don't watch it. This guy has taken the time out to create something from scratch which so many ppl love, I'm pretty sure hardly anyone's gnna go out n make one like him but he's just showing that it CAN be done if needed. Great work!

  • @neoverine Yeah, true genius. He films building an NFA item without requisite stamps, talks about how he'd raid his neighbors and eat their dogs in an economic collapse and posts vids showing his street about it on youtube. The federal prosecutors have their job done for them.

    Genius.

Maybe Chad will tell us about the plea deal later.

Listen, Sparky, I know England is restrictive and all but that this dolt did wasn't his idea; it's in a book anyone can get. NOT recommended.

  • @WurledPeas - Building the thing from scratch, yes, a damn right genius. Talking about raiding the neighbours and eating their dogs, I was not aware of that but if he has said so, he has issues which maybe he needs help with rather than being persecuted for. Yes England is highly restrictive, people don't realise what they really have until it's gone, same with most of you US people not realising how sooner or later they'll get around ur 4th amendment and make u weak n useless like us UK people!

  • @neoverine Building from scratch using someone else's well established plans isn't genius; it's mediocrity. Just about every kid in this country has built a zip gun. Building an NFA restricted shotgun and filming it brings a whole new level of idiocy. You need to look at his "tigerwalking" vids. Then come back and we'll discuss persecution. He labels his intended targets by assumed risk level.

4th amendment? Search and seizure is only paid lip service now as is. Do you mean the 2nd?

  • @WurledPeas - L O LLL i just watched all 6 of his "tigerwalking" vids and what exactly are you referring to? he's a bit of a nutter but then again he lives in a rural area where as I'm in a city, so to me he seems odd, and probably I seem odd to him. He seems like a survivalist enthusiast so what's the harm in that mate? leave the guy alone as long as he's not causing any problems. As for using someone else's plans, I'm commending him for ACTUALLY making it, not being a lazy ass like I have been

  • @neoverine He's no survivalist. Not by a long shot. Survivalists learn how to survive, not steal. See, stealing in a crisis situation leads to dead bodies. Survivalists learn how to farm, hunt, identify wild edibles raise animals(not hunt the neighbors or their dogs.), locate and purify local water. This scumbag comes right out and proclaims his intent to abuse others. He's part of the problem, not a cure. He lives in a city of 545K pop. Albuquerque. He's not rural.

  • @neoverine He may or may not be aware of it, but he's not only being watched by law enforcement but by the actual survivalist community in his area. He isn't going to last long in that coffin of his once the shit hits the fan. Man, he all but posted his home address online. Not like a quick look with the info he gives won't give it up. Huge OPSEC(look it up) fail!

No, don't mistake him for an actual survivalist. He's not even close.

  • @WurledPeas - Dude, it might be 'mediocrity' to you but in the UK we don't really come across this kinda stuff and for us it's quite a big step to even think about attempting it as we'd be jailed now for even taking an air gun out in public. As for the amendment, I'd heard it was the 4th amendment which allowed Americans to own firearms, if I'm mistaken, I apologise. However, I just admire the fact Americans fight a lot more for their rights than we do here at UK. You seem annoyed buddy, relax!

  • @neoverine Nope, you aren't capable of annoying me. More like humor. Sounds like you need to emigrate to a free country.

  • @WurledPeas Do you know of a free country?

  • @InKa4484 Antarctica. Beyond there there are only varying degrees of free.

  • @WurledPeas The way i see it, You are either free or you are a slave. Antarctica is not a country.

  • @InKa4484 So move there and establish InKa-astan. Then it'll be a country. And yeah, there are other countries where despite the presence of a government that had some pretty silly laws I have felt more free than here in USA with all this creeping social tyranny. I agree with you on the slave or free status. However, building an NFA shotgun discreetly it is far different from doing so and posting the vid. The latter is like using a bear cub as a soccer ball in front of mama.

  • @neoverine Believe you me were it not for the illusion of our US government that we are out there daily fighting to protect our rights, they would pull that table cloth right out from underneath us. Creating crime and spreading wars is their doctrine.War be it supposed international terrorist suppresion, drug wars, or on our city streets, is SIMPLY GOOD BUSINESS! But hell now that cigarettes are slowly loosing popularity you have to cull the population somehow RIGHT! IMHHO! LAO! Cheers!

  • @WurledPeas - Also, thanks but I really don't feel for the name 'Sparky', ok, sparky? and as for it's in a book. Yeah I've had a look at some of these books (poor man's james bond for one) but I know how lazy I am and reading it and admiring it is as far as I get b4 my attention breaks and I have to jump back on my Xbox! This dude actually MADE the product, that, to me, is truly awesome.

  • was it still loaded when you held it between your legs?

  • @JonGarrett2008 No, of course not. I fit the shell at 3:37, then removed it off camera. The video footage is cut together over a few day's time, it just looks sequential.

  • It looks so funny when you're sawing that shit hahaha

  • Mine was a bit different. No stock, no rubber bands, faster reload, longer barrel and all black pipe.

  • @TelcoPhil Would love to see it. Do you have a video or images somewhere?

  • IM WAITING FOR THE DEMO OF FIRING

  • @shimter I had to pull the firing video because the ATF served me a cease and desist.

  • i was thinking about getting a copy of the tm 31-210 from amazon is it even legal to own it?

  • @JHR1987 You can just DL it online. No need to buy it. It may be a little difficult to find at first. Google "TM 31-210 pdf" when you find it, just save the PDF to your desktop.

  • of all the guns in the world this is the one i want to fire the least

  • Batfe has been known to look for videos like this for potential evidence of crimes. Regardless of whether it was dismantled after testing, this video provides ample proof of the fact that it was constructed. As to the folks saying you'll get "10 years" this is unlikely for a violation of 750.224b for which the penalty is: "punishable by imprisonment for not more than 5 years or a fine of not more than $2,500.00, or both" Still, 5 years sounds pretty icky to me....

  • @preparehandbook You are absolutely correct. BAFTE came knocking - but only after a "citizen complaint." They take no issue with this video.

  • I wanted to see you shoot it

  • @headdildo oops nevermind I found it.

  • This video has violated many ATF federal restrictions.Don't be stupid and just buy a shotgun. Doing this pipe gun can only bring you 10 years in prison and the loss of your rights to own a firearm.

  • @ERIKSREALITY Important point you have raised, but in actuality, this video doesn't violate any restrictions. The act of building an illegal shotgun could, however, get you into a lot of trouble. I recommend you research all applicable gun laws and don't try this at home. @preparehandbook has it right - buy the tax stamp or it's 5yr/$2.5K

  • @chadperson1 You know what, im sick and tired of the BATFE, thumbs up to you for exercising your rights. TO ALL OTHER WATCHERS, if you want to mention the laws, only mention it as a warning to be sure the person is aware, but NOT AS A THREAT. From now on, im labeling those people as spam, and blocking them. Its getting really ridiculous.

  • Oh, and on a side note, you got this idea from "homemade guns and ammo", didn't you? ;)

  • @ERIKSREALITY shut the fuck up no one cars abot the stupid law

  • oh yeah no more high prices pea shooters its pipe time.

  • I appreciate everyone's concern for my safety and well-being!

The "shot gun" shown in this video was dismantled after test firing a blank round. This video is just an illustration of what can be done with simple tools. Please DO NOT ever make an improvised firearm. This is UNSAFE, UNRELIABLE, and possibly ILLEGAL where you reside.

  • This video shows the fallacy of gun control. Anyone that wants a gun can make one. Your pipe gun while crude is as deadly as any other shotgun. Please destroy this one and build a legal sized one though. 18 bbl and 26 overall and has to look like a gun. If not you run afoul of the NFA.

  • 18 inches Cool 17inches 10 years in fed prison.-Chop barrel up make new one.My 2 cents.

  • Chad, if you are in the US you might just have made a Short Barreled Shotgun by the Feds definition. (I'd hate for you to be the test case, since these are all felony charges) I'm also not a lawyer nor do I play one, but I have been a pistol instructor for 20+ years and have a passing acquaintance with the laws. Please, just check into it. Without a stamp, the min barrel length >= 18 inches and an overall gun length >= to 26 inches. (cool project though)

  • squidbillies?

  • so have u realized that this is a stupid creation yet? how inconvenient is it to change the shells? and the durability of the whole thing is really lame. well i guess its a good thing that you didnt create a rapid fire gun, cuz your sentry gun might go crazy and kill alot of innocent people.

  • @T1ger8oi its not ment to be practical..

  • Invest in some power tools!

  • So this is a smooth bore pistol that is less than 26 inches??

Did you build this on a Form 1 as an AOW?

  • Comment removed

  • GEEEE...I wonder how DUMBASS terrorists get there idea's????????????

  • @metal1531 Terrorists don't build guns from plumbing pipes. Middle Eastern countries have shitloads of Russian weapons lying around from the cold war.

  • What was the purpose of the 3 rubber bands you placed at the end of the video?

  • @knifeman15 They were probably extras for the one that goes on the gun. Rubber bands break easily.

  • your gonna have yourself a little accident someday

  • I was going to skip the first half of the video cause i thought it was pointless, but then when i realized it was in fast motion i watched it all cause it looked cool lol

  • Very good tutorial !! . I will try to make one this week end thx chadperson1 !

  • MCGYVER FTW!!!!!

  • Thanks for all the comments! See my other vids for a firing demonstration.

  • @chadperson1 what videos? and how did the nail not come out?? you know.. because of the recoil from the shell..

  • @evanmcorleytv I had to pull the firing video because the ATF was upset about it and served me a cease and desist. They even went as far as seising one of these shotguns to test verify its operation. Apparently it worked for them, too... Don't try this at home - seriously.

  • make shooting video

  • I guess in an aysemetrical warfare situation, you can use it to kill an enemy combatant and take their weapon and dispose of this one. So in a way its a disposable weapon, because I don't think the barrel can take more than one shot without exploading.

  • what's the yarn suppose to do?

  • making a gun isnt difficult as shown... ammo though, different story:( a .22 version of this is possible (and .22 blanks & air riffle pellets are still legal in the U.K, though prob not for long way things are going). good vid

  • @ghostonesixnine Shotgun ammo is legal to possess without a licence as well

  • Excellent Video - very detailed and clear.. Thanks for making it. Would like to see more videos on similar projects..

What is the aerosol spray you use before drilling the metal - end cap and hammer?
