I saw her live at the Koko club and she was amazing. Her drummer was freakin fantastic as well. It was up tempo and me and my friends were in the middle of a dead audience so we thought that we should dance to get everyone into it and it worked. Everyone was dancing and just having great fun. Controversial, but brilliant. I may be the only commentator here that's old enough to have bought a copy of "Echo Beach" (as an adult myself, even then) when Martha and the Muffins brought it out in my student days. There have been many cover versions since, all of them less good than the original - until now. I hope I'll be forgiven for being unequivocal, but this is BRILLIANT. If I could think of a better word to describe it, I'd use it, but "brilliant" is the best I can manage.

I also implied that she sings well and Echo Beach was a good choice. To finish, I wished her success, as I belive she can do it, just like Rihanna, when he "sampled" (in this same sense) Tainted Love , from Soft Cell.
