  • what the heck was with the dollar bills? btw i liked the drive through vid. gives me the same idea just do it with books of mormon. god bless

  • @atheistscience You're a mormon?What made you decide to be a mormon?

  • Awesome! You remind me of me and my mom :)

  • christ died for your handbags....

  • Trish , bless you ! Thanks for the 2 minute tips . They're great ! Despite what some people right you are doing what God wills and are an excellent example .

  • I'm really not saying this just to be mean, but your hubby likes boys. Seriously, it's written on all over his face. Am I right? Chances are, that happen AFTER your wedding.

  • what about guys :( lol

  • Evangelists are in-person telemarketers.

    LOSERS

  • @themsfightinwoids maybe it seems that way to you but if someone cares for your soul that much..........dont you think its something to be thankful for.,,anyhow telemarketers want something from you..this is for you.......take it or leave......

  • @chalaten..

Just because someone wants to "save my soul" doesn't mean they deserve respect. Many evangelists do it out of a fearful sense of obligation (given how wrathful the bible god is). And it's really dumb to think that you can "save" someone. Is god so arbitrary as to let the eternal destiny of strangers be determined by whether you happened to testify to them? Evangelism would have NO impact on someone else's destiny if god was just.

Just one of a million logical fallacies of the bibble.

  • @themsfightinwoids

maybe thats what you are getting from all of this but nobody can save you, if you have heard the Gospel and trully understand in depth, Jesus commisoned us to share the good news thats all , otherwise we cannot do more than that but allow God to speak to your heart or not....you are to discern and decide God himself gave you the will to do so, so you can hear it and not believe, One question what is your belief on life? your life....thanks

  • @chalatenango234

You don't dispute my point about the futility of evangelism, I see.

So you believe that god makes us have to decide (allow him into our heart or whatever). In other words, if you have doubts and cannot believe this god exists, you are somehow evil and worthy of eternal punishment. Really? If that your idea of a "loving" and "just" god?

There is NO reason why god should have to hide to evaluate us. It is only $religion$ that promotes blind acceptance since it has NO proof.

  • @themsfightinwoids

okay thats fine if you think that way...,,maybe you have seen a false christianity which seeks monetary growth instead of spiritual but that doesnt make it right

what do you believe?,,give me your belief thats all I wanna know...

  • @chalatenango234

There is ZERO evidence for ANYTHING supernatural, including "god". I am honestly unable to believe in such magic. I go with the scientifically evident, not with presumptive mysticism. I admit to lack of knowledge rather than pretend to know the mind and wishes of a god that apparently refuses to show himself. That's how I see things. I simply refuse to be gullible.

Give me a reason to believe in your god, if you are so sure such reason exists.

  • @themsfightinwoids can I ask you something? do you believe in moral code? like we shouldnt steal or kill and why do you believe that? if our actions hold absolutely no consquences beyond our human standard why have them? I mean who cares if theres genocide or wars and why have consequences if they dont affect the after life..if our life has no contniuty why bother being good since it really doenst matter

we might as well live apes

  • @chalatenango234

You keep asking questions but won't answer mine. I repeat: What reason do you have to believe in your god? Quid pro quo. I answered your question, now it;s your turn. Answer me or I have to assume you have no good answer, and are not worth conversing with.

  • @themsfightinwoids

okay..but you gotta explain yourself,,and I will explain myself also

there was a time I didnt believe but one day I read the bible by myself and as I read it felt like my eyes where opeing to truth literally, I never stopped and looked at my life till that da.I prayed and was honest with God and said if you are real show me because Im very doubtful about you and the rest is history

  • @chalatenango

You haven't directly answered my question of why I should believe in your god. Is your testimony that god somehow opened your eyes supposed to convincing? Don't you know anything about psychology? What about the myriad similar testimonies purporting to have communed with a DIFFERENT god?

Your sloppy writing reveals a lack of education so your obvious gullibility is not compelling at all. Explain why I should believe that what you think YOU have experienced should convince ME.

  • @themsfightinw

why should you believe? because in humanities decay and destructive nature we have found a saviour who wants to redeem whats lost, because there was a great price paid for the ramson of many lives, but more importantly jesus rose from dead and fullfiled prophesy as stated in Isaiah 400 year before christ came

brith ressurection and death all foretold-

  • @chalatenango234

There have been many "saviors" in history. Because saviors have been predicted in various cultures and then some guys came along and said they were IT, doesn't mean anything. Where's the evidence?

The crucifiction and resurrection are likewise also mythology--there is NO historical record other than NT scripture, which was written starting at least 70 years AFTER Jesus death. Your knowledge of history is terrible, and your standard for evidence is sadly dim.

    See v=oLeNGlUCUF0

  • @themsfightinwoids

yes there have been many saviours you are right. but none of them claim to be God it would be considered blasphemy, if someone came to you and told you they where God and would rise in 3 days they would be consider a loonie - continues-

  • @chalatenango234

the Dead Sea Scrolls have had the greatest Biblical impact. They have provided Old Testament manuscripts approximately 1,000 years older than our previous oldest manuscript.

  • @chalatenango234

What? None of the so-called saviors of the past called themselves god?

Go read a history book. All kinds of rulers claimed to be god. And yes, Jesus going around calling himself god's kid was something only a loonie would do.

  • @themsfightinwoids

name them and how many have resurrected?

  • @chalatenango234 How about ALL the pharaohs?

And yes, many people have claimed to have died and come back to life. SO WHAT?

  • @themsfightinwoids

pharaohs did they claim to be God and foretell their ressurection? and did they have many followers? where are they now? see you turn a blind eye to the fact that through persecution and death itself the gospel stood the test of time,

the finite mind is inadequate to grasp the infinite; that man, with his limited, human knowledge, cannot understand the purposes of Omniscience.

  • @themsfightinwoids

why would some many stake their lives for this faith from the disciples to stephen who was stoned to death to paul who persecuted christians and himself was chosen to minister the gospel,Tyndale was a theologian and scholar strangled and burnt at the stake-

  • @chalatenango

The same can be said for dozens of other religions. WIllingness to die for a cause doesn't prove it to be true. Look at the 9-11 hijackers.

You're standard of "proof" is ridiculous. Am I conversing with a child? Do you also believe in Santa?

If you think your god only values gullibility and sends thinkers to eternal torment, then your god is a monster. IF a god exists, it's not impressed with what you think of him.

You clearly have no basis for your beliefs &d are wasting my time.

  • @themsfightinwoids

I think you need to get of your high horse...........your words dont impress me much either ....you are good talker you even convince yourself........and what I meant by believing without seeing Jesus is that I believe the accounts given in the bible go on believing and be Mad at God....and see how far it gets you...I dust my feet where jesus is not welcomed and move on like the wind.....take care,,

  • @chalatenango

So you hold being a "good talker" (ie, making sense) against me?

You provide NO reason to believe the bible is any more credible than other religious folklore. You have stated that you will believe that no matter what the evidence shows or doesn't show. You further pretend that I am "Mad" at god, when I don't even believe he exists. I'm as mad at god as I am mad at Poseidon. You are a christian only because of your exposure to it, since your standard for belief is so nominal.

  • @themsfightinwoids sorry,,..but I can easily say you that you yourself have provided no reason for me not believe....how can you have an opinion on something you havent even tried yet...minimal is your view of your own humanity and I dont relish in it but hope you would be more open, but if your heart is hardened against God -may God help you-

  • @chalatenango234

I didn't say I never was religious. I WAS, very seriously, for several years. I KNOW what it is to be devout, and I know that it is dishonest to presume to know what you don't. I haven't "hardened my heart". I am simply RATIONAL.

  • @themsfightinwoids

your rationality is based on your truth and what darwin said about creation in other words he is like a God to you- your saviour since he shares your views you are his follower- we where made to worship you worhsip man and their futile wisdom- if you are impressed with science and creation now- wait till you see God- we have only but tasted his glory- creation will bow before him even you my friend-

  • @chalatenango234

Science says that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. YOU are the one making the specific claim that a supernatural entity made everything. The onus is on YOU to substantiate your positive assertion. If I said you haven't given me a reason to not believe in magic unicorns, would that mean that I am justified to believe in them?

  • @themsfightinwoids

wait see I Didnt make that claim that claim was made and proved before I was born amazing isnt it- I believed not on human terms but by the spirit- unicorns c'mon we are not sharing fairytales this has to do with life Isaiah 29:16 "You turn things upside down", God says. "Is the potter no better than his clay? Can something that has been made say about its Maker, 'You didn't make me?' Can a piece of pottery say about the potter, "He doesn't understand?

  • @chalatenango234

Honestly, your composition and logic are SO juvenile. Did you even finish high school? I have debated this long to let others see how a theist argues when confronted with basic logic and reason. Sadly you don't appear to have the capacity to understand what constitutes a credible argument.

I'm done with your willfully-ignorant and barely coherent drivel. Yours is a wasted life. Thanks for confirming my points.

Now go ahead and waste your time replying--I won't be reading it.

  • @themsfightinwoids thanks.....I wish you the best- your anger and superiority dont bother me- the meek shall inherit the earth-

  • @chalatenango

Here's how I see things: The world has beauty, yes, but also incredible suffering (ex: thousands of innocent kids painfully starving to death daily, or children being molested and even murdered). So that proves there is no "just" or "loving" god, since no heavenly "father" could stand by and watch that happen. There is ZERO evidence for ANYTHING supernatural, including "god". Pretending to know that one exists, and further pretending to know so much about his wishes, is DISHONEST.

  • @themsfightinwoids one question why have moral code? why help your eighbour

why feed starving kids? they are merely dust, why are we aware that there is lack of balance? what are these words Good and evil and how are they played out in our world- just the fact that we re questionin if there is a God calls into question our knowledge of his excistence or not in your case and by the way when we see the total destruction our earth and humanity and thats the only time we Believe

  • @chalatenango234

There is a simple sociobiological reason for "morality": the selfish and the dangerous tend to not pass on their genes. So altruism and compassion are normal by way of natural selection. You DON'T need to fear a punishing god in order to have innate moral values. That's another common fallacy of the religious.

  • @themsfightinwoids c'mon give me a break. makes no sense and you know it - ahh now I get you darwinism..makes sense, but why do we have to be good or evil what is the sense behind that, is earth a creation to be destroyed and have no value or meaning, man if thats your view I wouldnt care about what I did - as paul quoted Isaiah-If the dead are not raised, Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. its not that simple my friend

  • @chalatenango234

You're in a trap: your beliefs tell you that doubt, (ex rational skepticism) is immoral. So you dare not even question your adopted convictions. But IF there is a benevolent god, would he actually reward willful gullibility and eternally punish honest scrutiny? Is that reasonable?

1Thes 5:21 "Test everything. Hold on to the good."

Pr 14:15 "A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps."

So there u go -- you have permission to think. Good luck.

  • @themsfightinwoids God never asks us to believe, without giving sufficient evidence upon which to base our faith. His existence, his character, the truthfulness of his word, are all established by testimony that appeals to our reason; and this testimony is abundant. Yet God has never removed the possibility of doubt. Our faith must rest upon evidence, not demonstration.

  • @chalatenango234

John 20:29 "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

So here your bible and your Jesus apparently do NOT want you to want evidence. [Entirely contrary to the other quotes I gave you!]

By definition, faith is belief WITHOUT evidence. So your god DOES indeed ask you to believe without evidence. Faith that depends on evidence is NOT faith! So what you just said implies that faith without evidence is not valid! You have just destroyed your own argument! Wow.

  • @themsfightinwoids

Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands, and put my finger in the mark of the nails and my hand in his side, I will not believe" (John 20:25 this is thomas why would they put this in the bible and not leave it out - after thomas touched Jesus he believed thats what Jesus was reffering too- on faith of those who wouldnt see him. see I cant explain faith fully to you since i live its much bigger than human definitons you are seeking to feed your mind not your heart

  • @themsfightinwoids Those who wish to doubt, will have opportunity; while those who really desire to know the truth, will find plenty of evidence on which to rest their faith

  • @themsfightinwoids historical proof is available to our faith- but I would believe regardless- DOUBT has always plagued the human heart from Thomas who after seeing Jesus had to see his hands to believe from James his own brother-Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe." -Jesus

  • @chalatenango234

You would belive regardless of whether there is evidence on your side. Well that tells it all doesn't it?

If you were raised Muslim, with your attitude you would be worshiping Allah and praising the pedophile "prophet" Mohammad.

Doubt, ie rational skepticism, is the only intellectually-honest way to be. And no "perfect" god would punish sincere doubt with eternal fire and reward unsubstantiated conviction with paradise. Such a god is an oxymoron and thus IMPOSSIBLE.

    Wise up.

  • @themsfightinwoids

God showed himself to me thorugh circumstances it woke me up and left me in awe to know someone was actually listening watching aware of my excistence honestly it was the happiest moment ever it was all faith- seeing is not always believing how

  • @chalatenango234 Reviewing our discourse here I see that in the end you went back to undefined "circumstances" that convinced you of God's existence. Hardly a compelling sell--the personal testimony of others is invalid as a basis for never-proven supernatural beliefs.

Care to pick up where we left off? I want the truth, do you? Got anything new to say or are you afraid of the real world? Didn't your Jesus say that adversity will make you stronger?

  • Trish I am having such a hard time finding a purse like this lol. I was also wondering if you ever have issues with guys when you are out witnessing, like if they make off color comments? What do you do?

  • I usually have Emilio (my husband) with me...he's got big muscles. :-)

  • I love that, and I always carry tracts with me but I forget to give them out! I am so happy when I remember to leave them somewhere or give them to people. I will leave them on the shelf when I go shopping or put them in books when I go to the library. Its endless where you can leave them :)

  • shut up

  • gimmicks

  • Indeed, well said th3.

  • Trish,

THIS is GREAT!!!!! Thanks. I have posted it on my facebook. Too many of us are disorganized and we damage tracts... this way we can keep them neat, tidy, and know what we are going for, even sight unseen.

  • To all atheist or budding counter-evangelists, Simple Counter-evangelism 101 #9 explains how to counter what she has shown.

  • Hi Trish! I've thought of making a video like this! I have so many different purses for different locations, covert operation tract bags, etc. Maybe I can share as well!

Oh, and diaper bags make great tract purses, with all their compartments and even a "water bottle" holder!

  • Well Trish I know you said this is for women only, but hum I watched it and thought it was cool. I may not carry a purse (lol) but I wear shorts that has pockets on the side so when I go out I try to fill my shorts with tracks and then go fishing. I try to bring the best bait with me. (haha) did I say bait. :) So thanks now I got to put together a video for men and where to put tracks at. Thanks for the encouragment. Tell Todd there's no place for tracks with his white pants. (lol) They will see

  • thanks Trish! this video was great!! I actually use generally a purse pretty much like the first one you showed...but its difficult for me to carry MDB tracts I have to stuck em inside my bible, i hadn't thought of putting the pink/blue tracts on the front pockets! thats sooo practical!!

    God bless ya!!
