Oceana sailing out of Southampton Water 11/04/08

omg i was on that we only really got 2 3 ports cos the harbour workers in la rochelle were on strike it was very bumpy goin across the bay of biscay and u can see mi cabin look rite at the top deck (lido) and count three rooms along from where they start and its there i think or the otha side cabin room l346 the headlines theatre company r fab they're new 2 the ship

i just read yer comment, i was also on that ship that day. it was ma first cruise and going to go back next year cos my girlfriend found out she was pregnant after the cruise and turns out dates go back to night in vigo lol. i have to admit on last day sailing from brest when the ship tillted before sailing into a storm in the bay of biscaye was probarly the most frightening thing i had experenced, i was up all night cos i thought we were going to sink lol

yeah that was scary lol..at that point i was trying to remember where my muster station was =)..where were you when that happened? i was in the cyber study and the chairs have wheels on and they went all over..and my mam and dad were in the raffles bar and they said one of those huge plants went across the floor and a waiter with drinks on his tray stopped it without spilling a single drop..lol

i was on top deck of oceana when the ship tilted and half the swimming pool emptied with water shooting across the deck like a mini tidal wave taking chairs and sunbeds with it. i was so shaken about it, i honestly thought we were a gonner. i was talking to a girl next morning and she said they had to close the shop cos everything fell of the shelfs.

it was the scariest thing ive experenced in my life lol

i heard loads of plates got broken in the buffet place (cant remember the name) bet that would have been a bit of a disaster..

have you been on any other cruise ships?

nope that was my first but have seen many cruise liners sailing up the clyde towards Glasgow near where i stay. i have been looking into booking a cruise next year and fancied the ventura but see p&o have also got an even newer ship called the azuro which i been looking into. i also looked into the oasis of the sea and now thats a ship lol. what bout you, have you been on other cruise ships?

ive been on aurora, ventura and just came back from the independance of the seas..

if youre thinking about going on ventura then good choice..its a good ship, i went on the christmas cruise round the caribbean..the only bad thing about it was the captain but the captain we had is gone now..

and oasis of the seas is defo one i would look at cos the one i went on was an amazing ship and the seating dining is amazing plus i think its got a flowrider on which is a fab experience and worth going4
