I saw this game in stores...has to have been over a couple years ago. Thought about getting it but didn't pick it up. Nice song though.

I got stuck in the first Baten Kaitos at the part where you fight Giaccomo and his two henchpeeps in the same fight. I saved on the airship, so I couldn't go back and level up.

I haven't played it since.

I should give it another shot.

I've played the first one, but never did Origins. I really enjoy Motoi Sakuraba's work, and his work on the 1st BK was one of his best effort!!

I plan on doing this one in the future.

Oh, this is Motoi Sakuraba? This is so different from his usual Eternal Sonata and Star Ocean music. Kind of reminds me of the music that played for Elegy of the Moon or something.

@SupraDarky if I remember correctly there actually were plans for a Baten Kaitos for Nintendo DS but it got cancelled :/ still hoping for a Baten Kaitos 3 for 3DS

This is a game I really need to find. I got the first one at gamestop for outrageous cheap, I had never even heard of it before, I was just looking for a new game. Man that game was awesome and probably has some of my favorite music ever in a video game.

I loved this game and this series in general. I really hope we'll get a third entry someday. This theme was pretty powerful when it played during certain scenes. Sakuraba really created a distinct and memorable music style for these games.
