  • One of my favorites to perform, and I love how you play it. Great job!

  • Any reason why you 'rolled' all the double stops? It looks as if you are using a lute technique on guitar - which may be the answer to my question. Nicely played however. Thanks for sharing.

  • hi, very inspirational.

Im also starting some basic guitar exercises. So, can u send me the sheet of this opus N2 into my mail (moonflower_8888@yahoo.com). I try so many times on the internet but look for nothing. Many thanks!

  • @xuanuoc

There is the all Sor's opus on fernandosor dot free dot fr

    Good luck !

    Val

  • Great playing and beautiful music.

    I wonder...do you know Opus 31 #5 ?

    It's simple, but very pretty.

  • @thealexpaoful

    Thanks ;-)

I think I did the #5 but on the ukulele... ;-) I'll try it on the guitar !

  • @thealexpaoful

    Chris.

  • Sweet Val! What is Nylgut strings? Can they be used on a modern classical guitar?

    Per-Olov

  • Nylgut is made by Aquila Strings, and can be used on modern CG (try Aquila's web site) Sounds like gut, nice for romantic music.

    Val

  • saw your post on delcamp - really, really amazing. Any idea where can I find the sheet for this song?

  • Hello, on Delcamp's index page, on top, clik on Sor, then look for the list of fac-simile... You'll find the opus 31 ;-)

    Good luck !

    Val

  • @Luthval thanks :) found it

  • Very good! Is that a regular classical guitar with standard tuning?

  • It is not a "regular" classical guitar, it is his ancestor, the early romantic guitar. Body is smaller, on this one string length is the same (even a little bit longer, 65.5) and tuning is the same. But I'm using low tension Nylgut strings, and plays without nails (because I'm a lutenist first)

    Tahnks for your interest.

    Regards,

    Val

  • It sounds lovely!

  • Beau retour "réussi" à la guitare ! Bravo, cher Val !

    Rog.

  • Je vais jeter un "Sor" ;-))) (magique, non ?)

    V.
