I don't really see a a point to setting iptables to a variable. Would it really be so hard to run a perlexp like "s/iptables/sbin\/iptables/g"?

this built in firewall is only for linux?

well, i think that GNU/Linux and most modern UNIX OS:s hase some caind of iptabels..
so Windows is screwed...
