@insideipod actually that was mostly due to the fact that one of the girls was a trainee, so they are making sure that she is following "etiquette" but like others have said, not all mc donalds have servers this polite, and also in japan it's not normally about being "nice" more about being "polite"

The Wall Street Journal had an article about these burgers and how the Japanese McDonald's menu strategy differs from the U.S. by increasing caloric content instead of reducing it. (We got oatmeal with fruit instead of burgers with hash browns.) I usually avoid fast food, but I'll be in Japan soon, and I think I might have to try a 600 calorie burger.

The burgers are ok but fattening. stay away from the fries and the filet o fish, don't eat them. if you've ever seen the warnings, french fries, the way mcdonalds prepares them, could lead to cancer. they have that warning posted in their stores.

lol I have the same exact camera and lens. I bought it for my trip to Japan last year. The problem is that its not very useful unless you can master manual focus especially if you're using the 50mm f1.8 on a low aperture. Nonetheless, when all settings are set good and focus is mastered, the t2i can yield amazing images.
