This is the worst Metallica album. It has some good moments but it's still a bad album. It time for some '80s metal bands like Maiden, Priest and Megadeath to understand that they give everything they could during the '80s and in mid '90s and disband. It a pity to see so many good old bands doing so mediocre stuff today.

Not the music itself; just how it all comes into play in a finished recording. This release is somewhat "alien" to those who GREW UP listening to Metallica in the 80s. this album is way better than people give it credit. Bob Cock(sucker)'s production sucks for this, but the songs have a lot of meaning, the riffs are kick ass, and it IS metallica.
