Reviewer obviously does NOT know what he's talking about regarding watching the 3D content on other devices.

You can upload the phones SBS (side by side) videos to youtube for other people to view on their 3D devices.

You can also watch your 3D videos/photos in proper 3D on your 3D TV via HDMI (have done this myself, so I know it's a fact).

Please get your facts right when making reviews.

Great and entertaining review. I agree 100% with him. I'm getting this phone in a few days. I got it for $50, so why not, you know? I could really care less about the 3D, I don't plan on using it much, I'll probably keep it turned off to save battery. But I can't wait to have a beast of a phone soon :)

I agree with the camera. If they took out the 3D and put in a 8MP camera and then added a bigger battery then this phone would be way better and with the added room they could fit the kickstand in again.

The only thing id have to say is wrong is how u say the battery life is horrible. I take mine off the charger at nine am everyday and it lasts me untill one am. With thirty % left. Id say the battery kicks ass. O and i had the 4g evo. And blows it away. Didnt have to get the extended one this time around.

Yea, the internal Mem is stupid-low(4gigs), HTC Sense takes up like 3 of those gigs, so in the end, you only get 1G, 2011 ONE F%$^& G, REALLY!? HTC & Sprint, there are apps that won't install to the card... it makes no Sense...

3D is no reason to buy a PHONE... they should have kept the 8MPs... with a better sensor and maybe improve the build quality of the phone overall...

You don't NEED red/blue glasses to view 3D content on the phone on other screens, it also works with 3D HDTVs, those still require glasses, just not the red/blue ones.

Also, the 3D is a bonus feature, you can use the phone in 2D and never look at the 3D stuff if you don't want to. This review kind of made it sound like 3D was main selling point of the phone. Lets not forget it's a technologically advanced phone without the 3D.

My only real concern is the battery life. That is worrying.

Great job on the review Mike! It's interesting because every review of this phone is so different. PhoneArena said the call quality was great. PhoneScoop said that taking 3D pictures and videos on the phone was amazing because the images always come out in perfect focus and there is lots of depth. Don't get me started on Engadget because they only gave it a 7/10. In the end, I think consumers will love this phone and it will be a huge hit. I can't wait to get mine on day one!!

I think this is one of the best videos out there as of yet. I've seen videos from PocketNow, Phonedog, Android and Me. None of them even mention the other 3d option (glasses needed).

Thanks for the honesty. Technology should be pointed in the battery technology direction. While newer lower output processors are being created, battery technology in consumption is key.

@elitebattlefield2 We are all inexperienced when it comes to 3D technology, the ones that are equipping phones with such technology included. It should get better over time though. When it comes to battery consumption, we'll probably have to live with battery consumption issues on the highest-end phones for quite a while yet, so consider getting an extra battery if you're going to buy the EVO 3D.
