I am Reverend Joseph Wallace. I discovered that rap and hip hop music is killing our youth culture. Rap music is the noise of SATAN and promoting sin! Jesus died for our sins yet rappers are promoting killing people, "thug life" and raping women which is against the word of our almighty God. Therefore, rap music is secretly trying to overthrow the church by telling the youth to lead lives of sin. It is dumbing down the youth of our generation.
G Rap used the same sample for "Foul Cats" on on Roots of Evil. I was rockin it last year and had to do a double take. I was like wait this is "Unstoppable"
@gattiward ya , Big L rhymed over it on his 'halftime freestyle' but I think Pete Rock fully explores the beat here the best....Geronimo's nice too....
@gattiward Haha I just had a double take too! Although I started with JR & PH7's "Fast Lane Speedin" I knew Pete flipped the sample too I just couldn't remember for the life of me!
That's raw hip hop. Half these new heads couldn't catch the rhythm to rock this. And don't get me started with trying to add lyricism...it's impossible for these simpletons.
Don't worry dude, there are still nice rappers, just not on mtv n shit. Hip Hops still alive, we still got Nas, The Roots, Krs One, the Wu, Ice Cube, Ras Kass, Premo, Pete Rock and many more...
I remember hearing this song first on some mixtape. Each time I hear this song, it blows me away.
