Despite what alot of people think, I think Jack Nicholson never overacts. Not even close. He's very subtle and he always IS his characters. With Leo I can't seem to forget that he's always giving a performance. A good performance will make me forget that it's a performance, and instead they actually ARE this character. I don't get that with Leo. No one is that intense all the time in real life. It's like Leo always has to stand out above the rest

decaprio is great in this too, but no matter what he is doing, Nicholson steals the show. he just has a gift.

I couldn't disagree more -- I think Nicholson's shtick is growing very tiresome. It's not that I think he's bad, he's just become a cliche now. He plays the same character personality in alot of movies.

I think DiCaprio is shaping up to be one of the best actors of this generation. He seems much more talented, and diverse in his roles.

Nicholson was great in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and in The Shining though.
