Sega said If they took the wearhog out of the game and only leave the day stages the game would only last 3 hours in gameplay.

They also said that implimenting enough day time stages for the game to last 15 hours would take about another 2 years for the game to ship out..

So yeah.

give me a break sonic games are sliping and I'm not the only one who think's the wearhog missions kill the game. The reason I say that is because this is sonic, he should be moving fast that's what made the games from th 90's so good THE SPEED! without that there's not much to say about the new sonic games. What sega need's to do is stop with the stupid gimmics and just stick to the old formula which is " SONIC RUNNING REALLY FAST THROUGH A STAGE".

Plus back then you did not run SUPER FAST in this you run SUPER FAST. The wearhog does not kill the game. Thats like saying Kunckles killed Sonic 3 because of his gliding. No he dident. And the wearhog dident kill the game infact it made it more enjoyable and moneys worth. I would rather have a game with some thing to look forword to rather then a linear level that only lasts about 3 minuts at most. Plus why the hell would I wana wait 2 more years for like a few more stages that last 2 minuts?

Im not saying the Daytime stages suck. They're really fun in fact and could keep you on the edge of your chair most of the time. But reason I like the night time stages is because it has a whole different feel to it while in my head I still know its Sonic and im still playing a fun beat em up / Plat former.

Also the old sonic games weren't all that long either they only took a few hour to complete if you knew what you were doing of course. Another thing if Sega had'nt put those lame warehog stages on the game in the first place it wouldn't have taken another two years to ship out and the game probly would have been better off. DUMBASS!

The old sonic games werent long in the past because of the game system and game cartriges itself. If your recal Sonic 1 and 2 were both on the Genesis which did not use disks. So of course the game would only last an hour. Plus it took Sega about 3-4 months each to make those games back then...

I would rather have a fun beat em up wearhog then an always running Sonic. You know why? Because change is good sometimes.. And this time it dident compleatly fail..

I know you aren't saying the day stages suck I was simply pointing out that the night missions slow the action down or maybe I should call it the speed factor. I also meant that Sega should have more new sonic games that are like the old ones more speed and less extra stuff that at the end of the day weren't really nessasary to make the game good.

Sega already has new games that bring the old feeling back. All you need to do is go buy a gameboy or something and get Sonic advance 1,2,3 Sonic rush ect ect. They still have those games.

Since the 360,Wii and Ps3 are more powerful systems they tend to experiment on what they can do to make the game better.

And I know that the night time stages arent fast. But like I said..Sometimes change is good and this time it did not epicly fail.

If I would have wanted to play the werehog style game play, I would rather play GOW 2 which is a much better game. the word werehog doesn't even make sense either! were comes from the latin word >man,  Manwolf = werewolf. so that means sonic turns into a manhog. What were they thinking!?!

Are you an idiot? Since when in GOW history did you go up and start kicking, Punching the guy and doing combos? I have GOW2 and its a 3D person Pop shooter meaning you cover on a wall,Barrier Ect ect and shoot and maybe chainsaw here and their.

The wearhog its a beat em up meaning you go in and smash the living shit outa things. They are compleatly different games. Not to mention the wearhog levels are platforming to.

And who cares if its called Wearhog? What would you call it?

yeah but it's not that good of a beat em up it midiochre meaning it's not bad but it's not bring anything new to the table. And on the wii you actually have to puch I know you can use other controls but the fact that they put that in really sucks and GOW does count as a beat em up even though you use swords.

Since when is Sonic a MAN? Hes a hedgehog so he would turn into a wearhog. Your saying the game sucks for reasons a 3 year old can come up with and your judging the game just by 1 style of gameplay. Either your just a critic with bad taste or you dont know what the word " change " means. If youve played Ninja gaiden 2 before you would think the wearhog levels are a gift from god. Their not that bad so stop crying over it and saying its bad.

Sonic unleased is so depressingly bad that there some some "good running" levels in which you could die on yothe first or second "press the button" move areas. In the werehog levels if you get into a "finish the enemy off" button sequence and miss it the enemy will fully heal and be able to pretty much kill you. play the game before you decide to defend it's moronic gameplay.
