This "piece" of music is divine... I watched with my belowed grandma"Das Wolfskind" , the movie of Jean-Francois Truffaut, at the age of 7, I never forgot this unforgettable master piece of Maestro Vivaldi since then... It is the hauntingly sad, but yet beautiful sound of my life, in good or bad, I hope that many of you can share this same kind of feeling... Love And Greetings from Switzerland
Within Vivaldi's Concerto in C the 2nd movement is my absolute favorite... I find your interpretation to be a beautiful one. Your rhythmic approach is interesting; your tone is to be envied. On the other hand, the big breaks and your uncontrolled breathing are almost annoying. Nevertheless I enjoyed your rendition of this movement.
It sounds really good!!!! ^_^ My only problem is that you have a few big breaks.... You should try to take a bigger breath in a shorter amount of time and try not to cut the sound.... I've always pictured this as one long movement, like a liquid.....
i see in this video that there is someone from norway there who doesn't play flute..i mean one of the profs...where was this master class? by the way, congratulations to the piccolo player! it was really nice!
Beautiful. I would like to hear a mordent after almost every ascending appogiatura. Hotteterre says the mordents are never written out after the appogiatura because they are obligatory. What he called an 'essential grace'.
This is one of the my favourite movements when it comes to Vivaldi Concerto in C-major.. ur tone is very nice, but there´s some strange buzz in this vid.. what´s that? Nonetheless I like ur performance!! Keep it up!
I like that you didn't play it the same way twice! Not too many players realize that it's supposed to be embellished the second time around. And great breath support! However, you're playing the rhythm wrong in the beginning, yet you correct it later in the piece. Was it on purpose? Still, you're a great piccolo player!
Thank you for your comment. Yes, that was my purpose, I took a class with jean louis beaumadier and he told me that I can do that in this way, in fact this video is a master class with him...

your interpretation of the rhythm is the only thing off, remeber this is baroque! :) Otherwise beautiful playing.
