  • lol well, show me how excited you are haha

  • Im excited always eh eh eh :D

  • or it may be because I'm a good tapper, and I've been tap dancing for so many years.

Sorry if I insulted you in anyway I still think your dance school is wonderful and I would love to go there

I hope the compliment makes up for the insult sorry I just had to say it because it's what I thought I still think your dance school is wonderful and your jazz standards are higher then ours its just that our tap standards may be higher then yours

  • DSD tends to do more production tap numbers. Meaning, they are big on show, with large amounts of people, and props. My high school years we did 76 Trombones, a more Broadway piece, a rhythm piece, and a tap battle. There are some AMAZING tappers at the studio and a couple some great smaller groups. Tap is just not the focus and the judges like our jazz/lyrical so that is what is seen online. The only DSD tap stuff is probably from the small clips I put in my videos.

  • Yea I thought there would be other fantastic tappers at your studio!

AndI do understand that the judges wouldn't want to see tap because it would kinda be stupid seeing as DSD is like fantastic at Jazz why would you do Tap lol

So I understand completly why Jazz is the focus lol

  • That was interesting where you the one doing the solo's?

It was interesting to see DSD do tap because I usually only see them do Jazz or Lyrical.

I don't want to be mean or anything but Tap isn't that good in USA I don't think (This is only judging from the video's I've seen it may actually be very good)

I live in Australia and I am a big tapper, tap dancing is my style of dance and the steps just looked easy to me

It may because it was in slow motion

  • The solos are mine. This video is something I made of all of the dances I was in my senior year. I'm in college right now and we have an incredible tap professor. Her choreography always conveys dynamic range and sweet rhythms and almost always have some sort of narrative.

  • i just recently quit dance i was on company and all but i was stressed so i quit and wait for this ........ 1 week before competition OOPS! it was the biggest mistake of my life now i miss it and i am scared to go back everyone will be ahead of me and also i will never make company again ...... i mean how unreliable is it to leave 1 week before a competition UGH! again i totally regret it

  • heyy i go to norretta dunworth school of dance in dearborn you guys are really good at competition

  • jesus, how many people are at your studio?

  • i have no idea. there are probably around 200 in competition. there are two locations and no clue as to how many people per location.

in those dances a lot of the people are duplicates because most are done by age group and company.

our large company had 40 people in it.

  • what studio?

  • deborah's stage door

  • What an awesome way to remember your year!

  • i love it

  • Your dancers are seriously talented. I hope they all graduated and are doing great things in dance now. That large tap dance is great!
