I had A-K heads-up tonight TWICE, ran into kings the first time and aces the second.

IE:

Aces with King kicker

Kings with Ace kicker

over any un connected hand Ace threw all the rags

so 3:1 chance ;)

It's really about 40%, because either the king or the ace will be top pair top kicker.

really, the way people play poker so loosely, there are going to be so many coin flip situations... its enivitable... and if your lucky you'll have your opponent dominated and still only be 3:2 or 3:1 favourite.

in conclusion, luck is a massive factor when your opponents are playing loosly, and or agressively, and are willing to gamble with any two.. especially fast structures.
