This fish in Malay is call "Talang" it is big but useless, this fish always use as Salted fish or ikan masin not nice to eat & cooked like the rest of the fish dishes..anyway nice n enjoy the catch.

Wow I am surprised to see a catch this size so near the coast and at Tg Rhu at that. Fantastic, watching the video also give a slight adrenaline rush : )

Hello, you foul hook is it? Or really hook the mouth? I saw like the hook on the stomach, if so, you suck but really lucky. But if the fish got hked in the mouth, you're a pro.
Oh wait, that fish was hooked in the abdomen? In Canada, when fish hooked accidentally in the body, they have to be released. FYI since different countries have different fishing practices. Look at all the baitfish flopping around it too. Interesting.
