I have to jailbreak it to get something as basic as folders... the only reason I would say buy the ipod touch would be because of the app library.... nothing else

it seems like everything began copying ipod touch :) well thats how improvements are made. Look at the pc it didnt stay with a mac we got many other computer companies like toshiba microsoft ect for everyones needs. Personally Im not a mac but I do prefer ipod touch just becasue it has such a good app store.

@greyknight24 im sorry but using a tv as an example is a rlly poor argument. There are many ways to organise a handheld device such as the iphone and the zii egg shown above, however, for a tv there is only rlly one way to show an image back in the day, and that is by using a crt type screen. Copying hardware is something entirely different from copying software, and altho the egg and iphone are not the same, they are similar. the home screen unlock, method nd form factor all seem iphone like

I actually love the X-FI2. When it came in the post it was all slow and unresponsive (Basically Unusable) but i knew they released a firmware so i got that on straight away. After that it becomes much more fluid (not to the extend of the ipod) and the features are pretty simple (which is what i was looking for) The new update even has Sudoku o_O

I think their will be much more applications with new firmwares coming along. Overall. This MP4 RULESSss!!!!!

creative's software hasn't been the best, I hope they deliver this time. Nokia n900 and this are what I'm looking at. It almost saddens me the amount of attention the Touch gets with its inferior specs. With the multitasking ability, paired with a developing influence like Apple's, these two would be on the top.

I really hope Zii changes that. Cuz I hate iPods, and their interface may be nice, but when you bash on ipods all day long, and you take one of the Zii Eggs with you, the people that own iPods will ask questions. Its a bit hypocritical to bash on iPods, and then walk around with a iPod touch like thing with a iPod Touch like interface.

Well, people are coming up with so many hacks for eletronics. Jailbreaking iPhone, I even heard some people made a hack that allows you to run IPhone OS software on the G1. I'm assuming they're gonna make a hack that will allow you to run iPhone OS software on the Ziiegg.

You know I used to really respect Creative for sticking it to Apple and holding in there and creating products that were different. I have bought several creative products including sound cards, etc. I am very disappointed with this. A BLATANT attempt to copy the iPod Touch. Creative does make good quality products and they used to have some of the best MP3 players on the market, but they are no longer innovating it seems. Just copying like everyone else. *sigh*

It is a copy, it called "zhenhai" and creative is pushing this very successfully. They are selling this platform to third-parties so that they can do thier own iPhone copy. What's funny is that what's called a copy may end up been a better device than the original in terms of hardware. Apple has the lead on the services department, that's solely what keeps them on top.

A service is something you must of the time pay for, in exchange of some benefits. Apple is an expert on thats why they suck money from people as no other company does... I'm not sure what's with all the fanboys here, but my point was certainly valid. That's not my only beef with creative. Early on the MP3 market, I thought the iPod was abysmal. I was a huge creative fan and still am in most regards. But their lack of the ability to do anything but blatantly copy here really hurts me inside to think that I'm a Creative fan. I eventually had to come to the consensus that Apple did something right even when other companies like Creative had better hardware.

True, technically this is just an ipod touch copy. But really how much can a touch screen PMP be different? Let's see it has 2 Cameras (iTouch is still at zero) and is going to have HD TV out (iTouch does not I believe), an SD slot (unlike the Touch) and this has GPS unlike the touch and personally android seems like a better OS in my opinion (better notifications, background app running, widgets, etc.)

i love creative products but this is possibly the biggest rip off of an Ipod touch that ive ever seen. Aside from the cameras...the home button, slider screen, app layout, music layout are all the exact same.
