  • Ok you can bag her standing transition all ou want, but she'd already done one transition, that was super difficult and named after her! I think she'd already shown one super difficult low to high transfer so another wasn't really needed. Yes i interrupts the flow of her routine a bit, but there probably wasn't any other easy way to get around it without making the routine too exhausting.

  • so amazing. this routine shows that it is possible to have power and artistry.

  • Does that moron John Test only know how to talk about injuries? Like shut up, we understand what appened in the olympic trials. Give it a rest!

  • They don't do bars like this anymore

  • I like how she actually does stuff on the low par. Nowadays it seems like gymnasts just go down to the low bar because it is a requirement. Even back in 96' low bar work like amy's was rare.

  • this is my favorite bar routine

  • How did she rank?

  • @MargaretLeighh Her score was 9.837 (9.762 in compulsories) qualifying her in 6th. She scored the same score in the event final and tied with China's Bi Wenjing for silver. She only competed in VT and UB this year and came in 95th overall.

  • I have seen the double double dismount from the UB done cleaner.......to be fair!

  • amazing.

  • Such a unique and innovative routine, especially all those straddled elements. would love to see her picking some other more "high class" low-to-high-bar transition though.

  • The beginning was sooo cool!!!

  • powerful bar routine do any of you guys know th start value

  • Amy is AWESOME, I love this routine.

  • which one is harder, Amy's dismount which is a double twisting double back or a double twisting double layout?

  • well they are both two flips two twists, but the double layout is much harder.

  • A double twisting double layout is the most difficult dismount you can do from the UB, its a G element. The other one is like a D or E.

  • i think its a super e. and are there really g elements? i thought f was the highest...

and i dont think its the most difficult. i BELIEVE a triple back is harder, but i may be wrong...

  • in the 2009 code of points there is no such thing as super E O_o, unless ur tlking about the 1996 COP

anywayy, the double twisting double layout is equal to the triple back in the 2009 COP

  • well sorry im still trying to get used to the new code. and i said i may be wrong. relax, dude...

  • i wasnt typing in all caps O_o

  • you dont have to to imply yellling. didnt say you were, tho...

  • you implied i was angry or something o.o

    "relax"

  • ok.bye

  • In the new code of points it goes from A-G and thats what I was referring to. A triple back is the same difficulty as a double twisting double layout.

  • @gymnast768 yes, the triple back is a G element. A double twisting double back tuck dismount is a F element.

  • obv layout

  • What did she score?

  • 9.837

  • Love the straddled pak.

  • flawless
