@icebergera 1) It was roulette. 2) The act of finishing a sweep is what he really meant. Once it was inevitable that the sweep would occur, it becomes no fun to finish the rest of the game in 35 seconds.

You should run Rain Dish on your Tentacruel, just because of the prevalence of rain. Also, you should know that most Gyrados are SubDD Moxie sets, your opponent was running a very odd set.

Although I like any battle coming from you, I would prefer non-roulettes because I enjoy your team-building and your thought process (instead of "I went into this guy because I had nothing to take a hit"). You should get a better understanding of the metagame too

@bankofamrica Team preview kinda kills the pre-battle team generation. I can still certainly use the same mindsets with roulette pokes, its not like suddenly I don't switch out of super effective attacks.

And.... if I know nothing about the game... I would argue doing casual roulettes would be better for breaking ice than a serious contest would.

And Liquid Ooze might be helpful against whimsicott and ferrothorn, but tentacruel has no business staying in on them. It wouldn't be able to break whimsicott's subs and would be 2hko'd by ferrothorn's power whip.
