I recommend using bbs, they're way cheaper and easier load and havent notice any significant differences between the bb n pellet in terms of accuracy as far stopping power is conserned the bb can easily kill a bird

this is not that great of a test. a good test should test accuracy, precision, penetration, damage to target, expansion of ammo.

also chocolate coins dont make good testing targets, u should have tried some sort of thicker object. i find clay to be a pretty good analog

ma7t93: Thank you for the informative upload. As far as ammunition choice goes, it really boils down to whatever is the most accurate in your weapon. Unfortunately, that throws the round BB out the window since it will have a tendency to "knuckle ball"

Personally, I prefer pellets and have experienced greater accuracy in both target shooting and pigeon hunting.

I use a Remington .177 pump (Air Master, I think, but don't quote me) and iron sights. I gave up trying to get the scope right.

Good video; useful. I don't have any money at this point, and I've got only about 20 pointed pellets left for my Powerline 880, because I have wanted to test the actual results for a while now.

The results were what I expected, though. The BB just pushes through things, so the fact that the tin came off wasn't surprising to me. The pointed one is made to cut through things more easily. The flat head is like a hollowpoint, it's meant to roll, and break, so max damage to soft targets.

in like...1987 lol....my friend and I used to take those paper strip caps...for the cheap cap guns...and cut the tiny explosive part out with an xacto knife...then glue it on the front of the flat head pellets haha. We felt as it they has more penetration power this way.
