She sounded out of breath, so that I affected the sound quality too, it's not gonna sound like the studio version not only because she's dancing but added some digital effect to her voice on the cd version. I'm not saying they processed her voice or anything, just an effect that makes it sound a little different, but it's definitely still her voice.

she's great. she can be so sexy wooh..boa rocks no matter what she sings. i think she is dancing great and this song definitely rocks more than eat you up. The tone is low but comparing with the other songs in the market of english songs, the female singers do have a lower tone when they sing. Example janet jackson, britney?boa rocks.

Hmm...so an off performance...and yet she still sounds better than people who are out there, xD. It wasn't even THAT out of tune...ROFL. I love how people are so overly critical. Look at how long Brittney Spears has been singing off key (not just out of tune) Um...ever since her FIRST FRIGGIN' ALBUM!!! Yet people think she's good. BoA has proven herself time and time again. People are really stuck on themselves and close minded. It's sad that's how Americans are.

I prefer Lip syncing to be honest. Pop Singers should never Sing live if they dance like that. Trust me. I know she is an AMAZING singer. But she should save her voice for ballads, and dancer her ass off and lip sync to her upbeat auto tune songs haha

if you lip sync what's the point in performing it. You might as well get up there yourself and do a karaoke version of it. If i was in the audience i'd expect a live performance and her doing her best not pulling a cop out and lip syncing b/c she can't dance and sing at the same time.

i agree the singing is not amazing, but one thing guys maybe there was some problem with the mic, plus the reocrding of this video isn't that good. Many factors have to be taken into the consideration. Anway i think the peformance was good enough anyway

no I don' t think that was it. She sounded out of breath, so that I affected the sound quality too, it's not gonna sound like the studio version not only because she's dancing but added some digital effect to her voice on the cd version. I'm not saying they processed her voice or anything, just an effect that makes it sound a little different, but it's definitely still her voice.

lol Mic WAs good, its a high quality sound stage... MTV . anyways mic quality doesn't effect it if anything you could say it was a acoustic problem.. but it really came from her performance, when she's standing still singing it come out great, when shes dancing and moving, her voice is out of breathe.. so it really doesn't come out to well...
most asian pop stars tend to do this, and it really kills they're US carreers.

She's not sounding good because they overproduced her voice in the studio track.
So, it's a shock to hear her at live, without all the robotic effects.
Plus... she was dancing, and she was probably nervous AND tired (she's been flying between US and Japan and taking neverending rehearsals and English lessons...). She's also promoting a japanese single (Eien). All at the same time. So, give her a break...
