i like this guy ,he is amazing ,that he can do the same jokes for at least 11 years , i clicked on 2 interviews ,this one and one on the word in 1992 and he did the same lines almost exact 11 years apart and still getting laughs
@cguk2012 he started stand up when he was 16 died in 1994 and did the clive anderson interview in 1991. whats your problem, some musicians sing songs for decades over and over , its not a bad thing , and why not comedians if it works for them too.
@cguk2012 all i know is when i was trawling you tube for bill hicks interviews i came across his same jokes years apart, dont take my word for it , check it out for your self .
@steviesuperstar Youre talking absolute shit there mate. What year do you think this interview was done? 11yrs apart from this one? So, 2003? Or 1981? Unlikely he was telling these jokes in either of those yrs pal
Clive Anderson had no talent, but was pretty harmless really, he had some old-boy friends in TV and that's how he got into the business. You thought that ability came into it? Just look how well Russell Brand has done on a very mediocre talent.
Eddie Izzard is even more awkward and less funny in interviews. Thankfully the interviewers have taken more responsibility these days. Clive was always a bit of a pisstard. Dissing the Bee Gees ffs. Bloody lawyers.
Its funny, If it started out as awkward it didn't end that way. I'd say Clive Anderson is renowned for this and its funny banter between them - made me laugh.
It's better than watching something rehearsed and Clive's dry humour seems to be making Bill laugh and enjoy it.
clive is such an idiot haha

This is a beautiful interview. Why are people moaning. This was just Anderson's style. Made for a good laugh and they had a good chemistry .

Clive Anderson was always an awkward cunt. Maybe that's why he doesn't have a talk show anymore.

What was so awkward about it? I liked how Clive made Bill laugh

wow, quite awkward, not made easier by the fact that bill hicks seemed unable to hold eye contact. both look extremely nervous

The awkwardness adds to the charge of the interview and makes it more funny.
