Im in pageants. In no way i get forced to do them and most of the girls I compete against do it on their own free will. Toddlers and tiaras seem to find all the mothers who push their kids into it and make them seem 20 times worse. Pageants are really fun and unless you go to any pageant in the US and ask every beauty queen if She likes to do pageants you can’t really say anything bad about them. well i was in pageants when i was younger and people in all those shows are just showing everything that's wrong with pageants. i turned out just fine doing all of this and it didn't hurt my self confidence at all. it's a good way to learn sportsmanship, and every once in a while it fun for girls to go up there, have a good time, and be a princess:) im sure you think a pageant mom is writing this but i'm only 13:)

Im in pageants. In no way i get forced to do them and most of the girls I compete against do it on their own free will. Toddlers and tiaras seem to find all the mothers who push their kids into it and make them seem 20 times worse. Pageants are really fun and unless you go to any pageant in the US and ask every beauty queen if She likes to do pageants you can’t really say anything bad about them. What you see on TV is a show that uses it’s material in a way that makes them get higher ratings.

well i was in pageants when i was younger and people in all those shows are just showing everything that's wrong with pageants. i turned out just fine doing all of this and it didn't hurt my self confidence at all. it's a good way to learn sportsmanship, and every once in a while it fun for girls to go up there, have a good time, and be a princess:) im sure you think a pageant mom is writing this but i'm only 13:)

I have been in Beauty Pageants since I was 3. It is hard. It hurts to know that my mother wants me to do this only activity. I've always been too afraid to tell her that I don't like them. She just enjoys it too much for me to turn her down. Yes, it's true...To get a good score you have to flirt with the judges. It's wrong, they're pedophiles. This makes it even worse because it's the only place I feel like i'm important. I am now 13 and have been competing since I was 3. I will not give up.(=
