Would you do this publica;;y and sell them? I am looking into finding someone to model/ paint my horse since hes starting to get up in age. PLease respond!
@Sameoldjo I do sell my work through Ebay under my seller id willmz or on the Model Horse Sales Pages. Unfortunately, I don't do custom work like you mentioned. There are several artists out there that do though. Sorry I couldn't help you out...
@cwillmz How much would it be if you resculpted a Classic Breyer. I have been looking for a cheap custom and I was wondering how much because I want one no one else has LOL :P
@horsesaremylife31899 I am so sorry, but I don't take commissions for custom work. My custom work is only available on the Model Horse Sales pages or Ebay under my seller id willmz. Thanks for asking though.
@unicornlover247 They are made of resin or plastic. I customize many of them by either repositioning them or resculpting the manes and tails. There are several really good artists that sell resins unpainted for artists like me to do what they want with them as far as painting and customizing
I dont wanna be rude at all but the one at 1:49 is Kinda thin at the neck/head. Anyway Your so lucky to have such a rare talent! When i first saw these i was struck with inspiration!
That is because he is an Akhal Teke. The are super thin horses and this resin is a great representative of the breed....Thank you for your compliments. I am glad to hear they inspire you....
these are unbelieve able! they are the prettiest paintings ive ever saw u should start your own company called the most beautiful horses ever did u know u could sell these for like 500 $ they are gourgouse how old ru 17?
Wow. You are AMAZING! The one at 2:10, is that a Cheveyo RS? And 2:13 looks like it's real! There are only a couple with "off" conformation, but overall... Just stunning! I wish you could teach me how to do such amazing work, but I have yet to get an airbrush for my first Custom...
They really look like real horses! You are SO great!...I'm thinking about starting to paint breyers too!I never did it,but i'm really good in art,and the result looks so realistic!
Thanks for the compliments! I usually only sell my work on Ebay under my seller id willmz. Unfortunately I don't take custom orders for resculpting the Breyers. All of the "plastic" customs such as Breyers and Stones are all sold on Ebay. Thanks again!
I do occasionally repaint the new mold Breyers, but I don't take commissions for them. I sell repainted Breyers on the Model horse sales pages or Ebay.
There are actually several resculpted Breyers and a Peter Stone ISH on this video. The others are Artist resins sculpted by some of the hobbys top artists. There is a CM Huck Bey, 2 Breyer Silvers, and 2 Breyer Salineros. See if you can pick them out. Thanks for your compliments!
Oh, I thought some of the models looked kinda familiar but then alot of them didn't look like breyers. And your welcome this was really an amazing video!
That one is the Calamity Jane resin by Sarah Isherwood. I believe it is sold out but you may find one for sale on the Model horse sales pages. Maybe run a wanted ad looking for one. Calamity Jane was originally the Breyer Silver mold.
Can you make custom models??? How much are they? Because the models Ive seen by you are the most beautiful customs Ive ever seen. I would like to buy one!! :)
Thanks so much! I do make custom plastic models on occasion, but I sell them exclusively through Ebay or the Model Horse sales pages. Thank you so much for your compliments Caitlin!
your an amazing customizer! i have never had luck with pastells i use acrylics but you amazing at it! you also seem to be great at resculpting have you ever thought of trying to do original sculptures?
I customize Breyer or Peter Stone models along with Artist resins. I like to make most of them different than any other and especially enjoy resculpting the manes and tails.
I normally sell most of my work through Ebay under my seller id willmz. Add my id to your favorites on Ebay so you can see some of my upcoming horses.
I seal the "in between" pastel layers with Testors DullCote and when the model is finished I apply 2-3 coats of DullCote to seal the paintwork in really well.
Actually, many of these are Artist resins. They are original sculptures from some great artists in the hobby. You can buy them unpainted. Most artists allow you to change them a bit by repositioning and resculpting them. I like to make most of the horses I paint a bit different than the others, so most of the time I change them somewhere. Thanks for your comment!
great job... yet again... you are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do make alot of the customs on the video. Most of them are Artist Resins that have been sculpted by really great artists. Alot of times I will resculpt the manes and tails on the resins or reposition them slightly.
you should work for breyer, or do you? cause i bet you would be one of there main sculpters ;)
