fell across this video while looking for ancestors, I knew 'Uncle Jack" not as well as some, but watcing this i had tears streaming down my cheeks, for in a photo was the only grandfather i ever knew- Jack brother- Salvatore or Papa to those who loved him. what a wonderful way to capture these men, in pictures of what they lived for..their boats, and i to remember fishing with cork handlines Rocky, off the side of Sals boat- salorna, and eating all we caught..ahh those flat head! wonderful men.

Papa was the spirt of the ocean collectin mussels from the peer.

Taking his time to take us out fishing in his chugging along boats with the cork handlines no fishing rods alowed he use to say. After catching big fish your hands would be very sore from the line. It is very sad and different.
