BAD: The cables are all attached and glued 4 ever; The amplifier is not really very high quality.
As soon as i turn the switch ON, I can hear a little static sound from the amplifier, and it starts amplifying a little the electricity of my house. If I turn my light on the speakers make a different static sound. But it's OK, it's not loud, u can barely hear it.
The speakers aren't bad for it's very little price!
Oh and I bought this speakers. But they aren't really that good for 50 W RMS.
It's not even close to creative 2.1 ~40W RMS I have here. Though this philips speakers are 3 times cheaper than what I paid for my creative back then (around 140€ vs 45€ for the philips). But it still is 50w rms against 40w rms and there's really a high difference in sound quality.
The subwoofer is powerfull, but the wood box doesn't really allow to get the total quality of the coil.
@guily6669 Yeah i agree, my 32 watt local speakers were also louder, but the quality is really good in these ones. I cant comment on Creative as i've never used one !

At least the cheapest 2.1 ones, I already had 3x 2.1 from creative. Only the ones with 40W rms, didn't had that problem. Which is basically u put the sub to half and it starts to give a dead bass already on some frequencies... Instead of making brrrrr sound makes that crapt braaa sound...
But the tweeters, I like their frequency. I have\had 5.1 digital + 3x2.1 all from creative, and I have Logitech Z5500 + those philips
Is this bass you can really feel? Because I'm thinking of getting some for a house party coming up and I want 2 sets. To go throughout the house (one either side of the house). Also, do you think it'll be loud enough to hear and does it need to be loud to feel the bass??

The Z506 should sound good since it looks like it has 2 tweeters, and it's the cheapest 5.1 that u can connect to ur home media center\\ps3\360\\...
