Gave me goosebumps watching this - it was so spectacular. Man's midair connection with such a noble creature. Beautifully shot...really gives a unique perspective of a hawk's natural environment...while co-existing with man. Awesome!

I thought about that too, what happens if the bird comes in and the wind changes? How do you keep them from getting caught in the ropes and what happens if they do?

@imnotlookinganyway The wind doesn't "suddenly change" enough to alter the course of the glider or the bird. Also the birds are well trained, they know that the lines are there and no how to avoid them. We have also been doing this for many year and can predict the behavior and movements of our birds in the air. So don't worry, you can sleep at night now.

I think im going to have to visit you guys! btw the Hero 2 is pretty sweet, I have a fleet of Gopros myself... very functional great cameras... for future footage you should set up a time lapse with the gopro.. adds an extra nice layer to videos
