To say there are black skinned caucasians in Africa is fantasy. The american categorisation is simply the old colonialist impetus of divide and rule over africans based on outdated research. Negroes are a diverse race even more tyan whites. Whites can have broad features like russians or fine features like scandinavians. Similarly blacks (negroes) can have broad features like SOME west africans or fine features like SOME kenyans. The reason why somali's have less kinked hair is because there was intermixing with traders from india in the distant past. There is also mixing with arabs from the hegira of 7th century ad, but fundamentally they are all africans.

It was fabricated by Europeans who wanted to claim the great civilization of Egypt as their own creation and therefore they fabricated a caucasian "brown race", which does not exist. Yes I agree that Narmer and other pharaoes of dunasty 1 might be negroid becuase some ancient egyptians came from the western sahara (Chad/south Libya) and were most probably negroid. Those that came from north & east Sudan were caucasians. Again I can say it is not the colour of your skin that determines your race. It is your genes, skull shape, nose, hair, lips etc

By the way, if you are an american then check the classification of north Sudanese by your governament. USA classifies north Sudanese as Whites even if they have dark brown to black skin. Why??!!! Eritreans, Nubians, Ethiopians etc look different but they are just as black as Nilote or bantu. Our physical appearances mean nothing, The reason africa is diverse is because we are all different.

North Sudanese, like this singer, are a brown race NOT black. African Americans are balck even if they have a lighter skin colour than this singer. What most of you fail to understand is that African-Americans are descendents of West africans called black in europe and america because they are a nigroid race. Indeed, the sudanese and horn of africa peoples (Ethiopians, Eritreans) are indeed descendants of the great civilization of Egypt preceding by 3,200 years the Arab invasion of Africa in 7th century AD. They are not elevating themselves by proclaiming to be Arabs. No race is pure. Even in West Africa we have traces of Arab, European genes etc; but predominantly we should be proud Africans.

What ever you say. Arab is a race, not just a culture as is African. A black man is a blackman whether his culture is arab or not, he cannot escape being a blackman. An arab whose culture is african cannot escape being an arab. A white whose culture is african cannot escape being a white. If you even know the history of these people, you will know the mother of the Arab is a habashi (Ethiopian) woman and the father Ishmael (3as) is a semitic, though I don't think semitic has anything to do with color either.

Sudanese people don't consider black and arab based on skin color, we define eachother based on culture. we are arab in culture and the southeners ae african in culture, it has nothing really to do with black and white. thats why sudanese people don't like to be black because black is a culture all in itself while arab is a better characterization for us whether we look like it or not.

3) I stopped reading Quran as a child and went to a private convent school and University and had helped to shape me to think independently without any bias.
