Probationary drivers are allowed to drive Police Vehicle's if they are in the Law Enforcement. They are not allowed to show their P plates. Unless this doesn't apply wherever this was filmed.

Learning countersteering from burnouts/donuts and other sideways activities tought me a huge amount of car control. When your car goes sideways, or breaks loose you have that muscle memory to help correct yourself. My stupid street days are long gone, nowadays I race karts. All the knowlege to this point helped me to be a better racer and driver!

Well here's 1 for you'll i was working at a confrence for all the top ohs/workcover bosses a couple years back and as one of the members of the function left he was pulled over speeding just at the front via a cop the gentleman gladly excepted his fine, and then handed the cop a fine for breaking a ohs law 4 not wearing his fluro vest whist on the road hahaha....

It is an offence not to display p plates if you are a p plater but there is no offence for having p plates on if you are not a p plater. Entrapment is doing something to male people break the law. Having p plates on a police vehicle is in no way making you commit an offence.
U are right re OHS laws, cops get fined all the time for not having certain protective equipment when a spot check is done.

Got done on the pacific hwy at chatswood a few years back by an undercover XR6 that has Green P plates on as well.
Was advised to take them to court over it, but ended up paying the fine as I didnt want the trouble.

Are you a fucking idiot? Nowhere does it state that you must be 25 and on your opens to drive a Government vehicle. I'm 19 and on P2 and I drive government vehicles for the Dept. of Communities as a Child Safety Officer. You are absolute idiots. Police officers only need to be 19 at time of attestation and hold a NSW P2 licence or equivalent. And just like normal people, they have to display the plates while driving if they are on their P2 still. Learn before you speak.

someone has just put these p plates on for the video. clearly there are no officers around the car atm so they have snuck in and put it on. nevertheless i have been followed and pulled over for doing nothing wrong. he had to cut across 3 lanes of traffics. issue is, they see a nice car and automatically think they are in the wrong. that is my issue. u dont have to be a hoon speeding thru a town to be picked on

I don't think I'm top shit speeding through towns, but I am a revhead and have a passion for drag racing. I don't race anywhere where i think its not safe, whether at an organised event or not.. I'd be more careful what you say in future.

@itsdamo1993 comments a bit late, but in my opinion you learn a lot from doing burnouts. Drag racing included. Learning countersteering from burnouts/donuts and other sideways activities tought me a huge amount of car control. When your car goes sideways, or breaks loose you have that muscle memory to help correct yourself. My stupid street days are long gone, nowadays I race karts. All the knowlege to this point helped me to be a better racer and driver!
