More ways to get money 1.Join a guild RAID THE PLACE because you it isn't stealing 2.Get good armor set it on the lowest difficulty and then kill everyone that isn't important like guards,random people, and shop keepers BTW do this before you enter the thieves guild. You'll have to so you can sell the stolen goods. But it is really fun and at the end of the thieves guild quest you get a mask that lets you take anything then you take it off and your free.Hide the stolen goods in any random box

@MylesC1234 Yep it all depends on your level in a particular skill, for example at one point I had steel arrows and iron arrows doing the same damage, but when either my marksman or agility started to get higher the steel arrows became better. Its the same with other skills too, you may see that two pieces of armour give the same defence, but if you increase your skill the other armour will become better. Hope I helped.

OR you make your way up through the hiarchy of the mages and fighters guild so you make decent money + decent training in whatever you want need. if youre the mages guild leader you get a free house plus monthly money, same for fighters guild, but not a house, free weapons. good ones. Its only a long way but still, lots of fun and practice. Worth the effort

@items419 yeeeep, and you get 5 fame just by taking the amulet to jauffre (+1), get to kvatch and close the gate (+1), retake the castle(+1 and a sweet light armor cuirass, also all the silver stuff you can carry), take martin to weynon priory (+1), take martin to cloud ruler temple (+1 and a katana if you join the blades), +5 fame, in the easiest way ever, even more because you can not care less about martin safety being him essential and can fast travel all the way

I've found a REALLY good way to make money in "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" myself. What I do is, I go to the arena, save a copy of the game, then I bet 100 gold coins on one of the teams. If I loose the bet, I just reload the copy of the game and repeat the process until the team I bet on wins. I'm a combatant in the arena, so I use some of the money to train, buy better weapons, restock in healing potions. This method earned me a lot of cash.

So when im done getting all my vamp dust i just drink a potion, also the arena thing like you said is 3000 gold a week. when i cash out all my vamp dust i usually get about 5000 gold and thats like every thirty minutes. So this is a very useful money maker for people who know how to use it

This is rubbish. A much easier thing to do to make hundreds of thousands is to do the 'cure for vapirism' quest and then get the reward of the count of skingrad. You can get the reward over and over, as many times as you like!! I make about 250,000 in about 5 mins from it.
