why dont it automatically target the enemy when you run the crosshairs over them.. the last time i beat sharpshooter level 10 it  changed to the targeting like ur at now! its hard for me to target his hand when im in dead eye cause it automatically target other parts of his body first

Yeah it works a treat. I did it in Thieve's Landing Saloon with the Mauser like the video, and some of them left the saloon. So I went outside and started pointing my gun at random guys and they drew. It's all good. :)

Use the Carcano Rifle. It only has five shots, but using Dead Eye refills the chamber without reloading, and disarming people in a bar with it is laughably easy.

i didnt waste my ammo, i went to pike basin and did it. just dont release the target button and you wont reload. Also, it helps if you have the evans repeater (22 shots in the chamber)

hint: if you have disarmed people inside (2 or 4 most likely) and the others ran away, you have to run outside and aim at someone. If he draws, disarm him. Than run away from him and aim at an OTHER person and do the same again and again. I didnt had to use any dead-eye potion or something like that =) you'll have plenty of time once you do the trick showed in the video (and that is to make sure you have only 1 mag left so your weapon wont reload when using dead-eye)

I prefer using the Mauser

A more easy way is: have a revolver or pistol, go to tesoro azul or nosalinda and disarm people while in dead eye, thus completing a hideout, a challenge, and no lost of honor. Tip: Have plenty moonshine and medicine.

i found a really easy bug on this.. if you shoot until you have like 3 bullets left... then go on Dead Eye it reloads your weapon but doesnt register as you reloading your weapon... But you dont empty the clip at the start... Plus i reccomend doing it at Gaptooth breach hideout :P

A) using the Evan's repeater

B) Dead eye their hats first...that'll trigger them to draw

C) Then disarm them
